I loved these guys. In 94 our music mag relocated to Seattle and so did my vinyl and cds. My UT cds were stolen from my car in a smash and grab. I was bummed. I echo someone else’s comments, they should be in the Hall of Fame.

This is around the time of his downfall, doing a world tpur and famous and rich from Fairytale and the time he became dependent on alcohol and a heroin addict. After the tour his sister said he was never the same again and got him sectioned. People always think he was drunk bit he was on heavy duty medication as well for most of his life after

Me too. But the gig at Cicero's the month before this was epic. Jay and Jeff got into the huge fight between sets over the nonsense between Jeff and Jay's girlfriend. It was at that moment you knew they were soon done.

Weird, to me it seems right from the get-go, first song, from jump, the strings part of the band is acting like they want the mandolin player to cool it. Not sure but he is kinda wailing on the noisiest little bastard of the string family aside from old uncle banjo. I am silly. great show.

Went to REM and Replacements at state theater in Detroit. Saw Cheap trick earlier in the day got drunk fell asleep in the 6th row.missed the entire concert. .
