My white boy cat has redness on his ears, hope it's not bad, have read that coconut oil is good for cancer, I don't want to give to him internally as it can increase cholesterol levels, I had taken coconut oil and the cholesterol level was increased, I stopped taking it and the cholesterol had dropped according to the second blood test. Have read coconut oil has anticancer properties

Hi there, you can use coconut oil topically on your pets and add it in moderation to your pet’s food as long as it is coconut oil safe for cooking and eating. If your white cat spends lots of time in the sun, you may want to avoid that on his ears as lightly pigmented cats and dogs can develop skin cancers related to sun exposure. My guy loves coconut oil I put in fridge to get hard and topped with coconut flakes. It's his desert. Takes him a few minutes to lick it up because it's hard 😁

Hi there. I would be cautious about using coconut oil for a bloated puppy. A small amount in the food is ok but too much can lead to gastrointestinal upset.
