Good explanation of moves on the video. Also nice benchwork , i am wondering why you use open grid for your layout. I guess you plan on showing levels in the scenery below track level. Anyway enjoy your operations as you are filming and don't worry about viewers getting bored. We will still watch.
@ns_69637 ай бұрын
That's correct, the open grid benchwork with cookie cutter roadbed was done to facilitate scenery that drops below the track level. Glad you enjoyed the video!
@KandWRailroader7 ай бұрын
I wouldn't worry too much about keeping viewers interested. You can't please everyone all the time. I'm still learning how to shoot ops videos myself and it's enough to worry about camera positioning, camera angles, operating the trains, making sure turnouts are thrown, keeping myself out of the frame, pausing recording to throw turnouts or uncouple cars...sheesh! I just don't have the time to worry about whether or not someone will get bored watching. Just have fun with it. I probably watch my own videos more than I thought I ever would so I try to keep that in mind. If others enjoy my videos, then I consider that icing on the cake! Can't wait to see more detail added to your layout!
