What a pessimistic mother fucker. He was 42 here. Talk like one. You talk aggressively to people with your dumb emotions. You’re just gonna turn majority of people off. People don’t like to be yelled at. Even people who like extreme music heavy music and art and films and other arts and film don’t like to be yelled at and preached at like Farrakahn does to his cult member minions.

I remember a lot of people saying that Buckethead was Paul Gilbert but turned out to some tall, nerdy kid from Huntington Beach who shreds on guitar!!! Brian Carroll.

My Dad is Jamaican and goes by a pet name. He only learned his real name when, aged 11, he found a birth certificate with his surname and date of birth but a different first name. He thought he must have had a twin brother who died and was kept secret... My grandma said "No! That's your name!" 😂

I'm sorry, but I'd rather have a Dominican grown from Cuban seed over a pure Cuban. The commie gov of Cuba ruined cigars, IMHO.

Cigars are truly a modern phenomenon. They carry a lot of rustic tradition but, are still somehow timeless and relevant. They make a statement but, teach you subtlety in conversations. And when you go places where its still welcomed as a pastime you are also welcomed by great people.

Man or robot? Machine or sentient being? No one knows for sure. He's simply called Buckethead (for the Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket 🪣 on his "head"). Which raises another conundrum: is he really into the secret recipe; or is it a mockery of meat consumption, in favor of vegetarianism- or even Veganism! But I digress; whatever he is, he is godlike at the manipulation of electric guitar 🎸 strings. Someone has programed him for perfection and insanity. Buckethead- guitar Bill Laswell- bass Brain- drums DJ Disk- records, effects Praxis is back

I’m not a ritual cigar smoker, but I smoked a cigar recently on vacation on a private beach by a house I was staying at, when the sun was setting, only me on the beach. I smoked a Ashton toro, had a beach chair, cold bev and some music. Lemme tell ya, the ambiance, the cigar itself, etc. it felt like the world just drifted right on by. It doesn’t get much better than that!

I’m a Texan, my father was too, but he got in some trouble, and fled the country when I was real young. When I was a bit older, 14 - 15 yo, I knew he was laying low in Nicaragua. So I flew down to meet him, pretty much for the first time. We got Cuban cigars quite easily down there, and that was my first cigar.

Buhaina was one of the greatest bandleaders in jazz. He created a band sound that influenced so many bands and artists. So many of the greatest talents in jazz came through his band which was an institution. Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers helped nurture and create more leaders in the jazz world than practically anyone. My favorite is still the great first band with Kenny Dorham, Hank Mobley, Doug Watkins and Horace Silver. I'm very glad I got to hear Art play many times. A true jazz giant and a very humble and modest person who had immense respect and love for those masters who came before him like Sid Cattlett and Chick Webb.
