Switch 2 will no doubt be backwards compatible with Switch games so they just gotta update Ultimate with reworks for some or all veterans (they can still leave their original kits in tact and let players choose if they wanna use their old or new kits) and add new fighters. Ganondorf and Young Link I want most to get new kits that match their respective Zelda games. Ocarina of Time wizard Ganondorf and transformation masks for Young Link, which could just be implemented into his Specials, Smash Attacks, grabs, etc instead of taking more development time to make him into a stance fighter. Fierce Deity Mask should be his gimmick transformation in my opinion because FDL will actually be playable in the competitive scene versus relegating it to his Final Smash that may just be a cinematic attack. The Giant’s Mask should be his Final Smash, and he’ll use the Great Fairy’s Sword for certain moves for extra damage via sword strike, otherwise he’ll use the Gilded Blade.

Let's be real, Pyra's great. I love the pure power she has. Like I know that Mythra also has a plethora of KO options and can combo very well, but Pyra can KO with basically everything.

Hmm, maybe you're just playing when not many others are playing? Playing in the middle of the day seems like it'd have bad matchmaking for instance. Loads of people work during the day after all and will play Smash in the evening/night. I do hope there will be a new Smash game though. I don't care so much about the competitive part so I'd personally just like a better story mode. World of Light isn't *horrible* but it's nothing compared to Subspace Emissary. As for character cuts, I'd imagine all the Nintendo characters are sure to stay, and probably the Capcom characters. As for the rest? They could be dropped. Though to fair, if Cloud can go from DLC to base roster in the transition from Sm4sh to Ultimate it's possible that the whole roster can stay. I just don't know how they can top Ultimate aside from making a "Deluxe" version of Ultimate with some character reworks, better netcode, and an improved story mode for casual players.

Ik you’re a big COD guy and all I remember when I did play was grinding for dark matter and it’s just something to keep you entertained for hours Really wish smash and nintnedo multiplayer games as a whole would give more unlockables behind achievements. Been maining Aegis for 2 years, and i have to say that i still have to learn so much, i just hate when people can't play againts Aegis and say they are carried when it takes so much to learn two characters at once. I'm so glad to still see people respect us Aegis mains

Mightve won if you switched to mythra

Pyra is one of the most difficult characters to play in smash ultimate but I still love playing her. If Pyra play and foresight become abused Aegis will be better in high tournaments. If someone like Sparg0 (solely for the reason he uses Pyra pretty well) solo played Aegis for a month I feel like the Aegis meta would improve.

You're speaking facts, people just suck with Pyra she was never the problem. One day people will put time into her and do better, but today is not that day. Congrats on 800 subs! Celebrating with all these Pyra dunks :D
