Funny. Gannon did a whole video on how he DOESNT snap his wrist. It’s all in his fingers. No wrist snap.

When I do this my hand stops after the "snap" - no follow-through

This is a really difficult shot to master . With what was said here about extending and snapping , I would add that it has a lot to do with FEEL and TOuCh , kind of like a basketball or a baseball . The pros make it look easy .

If you practice something enough, anybody can do it. That's the only thing that separates the pros

Thanks Ricky. It is interesting to hear what these elite players are thinking while throwing bombs, vs what it looks like on video. I think the mechanics are so complex that even they might not understand or be able to explain how they're doing it exactly.

I'm rather new to the sport. Still finding myself in the game, you know? I touched a judge for my very first time today. First dd disc I've gotten to touch period. Felt great in my hand and I'm planning on getting one at some point

One useful shot missed is a Scoober Roller aka Geare Roller aka Stokely Roller. It’s not a conventional scoober so the naming situation is unfortunate. Scott Stokely has a vid on it. Titled: The Approach Shot nearly everyone is throwing wrong

2 go to putting putters. 1 Overstable putting putters helps in the wind. 2 driving putters 1 stable 1 Overstable. Understand mid stable mid overstable mid. Same for fairway drivers. A few utilities mix in. A roller and 3 of the same mold for distance drivers. I carry 17 in total and a few of those I could take out on about half of our local courses.

Man thanks for this. Testing one piece at a time starting with grip. And man that helped a ton with my consistency! Next field day will be the reach back change. I just started about a month ago, and struggle to break 250 with mid ranges and fairway drivers. I still didn't break it today. But all my shots were way better with no grip lock. And for the first time I felt my triceps engage instead of my biceps.

Game with a friend: 2 disc "Horse" - Same old schol rules as horse, however, by adding a second consecutive throw it adds difficulty as well as rewards your opponent for skill. Start: Player 1 chooses spot and marks with mini (or anything). Player 1 takes 2 throws from spot. If Player 1 makes both discs, then Player 2 must also make both discs. However! If Player 1 makes 1 and misses 1, then Player 2 can steal the box by making both 2 discs.

Suddenly found a forearm last week, open field....wahl...it was awesome and as a leftie , and the glide path was superb....then came back to my treed course and it fell apart in seconds....plus, I hurt lots after that first session...back to warming up, and field work..great idea for this video, and a left handed player to show the actual process...
