I use three materials when finishing leather cross sections. Thank you for watching. 1. Tokonole 2. Water-based Glue + water (1:1 ratio) - This mixture helps the last applied chemical to adhere well to the leather. 3. Lastly, there is “wax coat”. - This chemical provides a transparent coating. It is similar to finishing with wax. I use it for a natural finish. I hope this explanation helps. 1. I am new to the hobby and just found your videos, thanks for making them, they are fantastic and so well edited! I had a beginner question, where do you get the white pieces you use to mark the shapes on the leather and what are they made out of (plastic, cardboard)? I saw the pdf oatterns you sell but didn't see those pieces for marking the leather anywhere..
@plan.b
@plan.b 13 күн бұрын
Thank you for watching and complimenting. I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly. I'm not sure exactly what the white pieces refer to. If my answer is wrong, please tell me the time when the white pieces appear. I pasted the pattern in the PDF onto thick paper and cut it into that shape. You can choose thick paper according to your preference. I hope this answer is correct.
