@jackofmanytrades3 күн бұрын
Hey, thanks for your comment! I’m really sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with the GAN robot. Unfortunately, I’m not exactly an expert on the compatibility. I have the newer version class and know it works with the i3 and even the original 356 I. But I’m not entirely sure why the 356i carry s isn’t working. I know there used to be center caps you could get for allowing you to use regular non smart cubes. But I’m not entirely sure if that would fix the problem or not.

With those blue bumpers avata flying wierd so that I took em off. And actually that might be a reason why you fell
@jackofmanytrades15 күн бұрын
The bumpers were not the problem. I’d suspect that if you were experiencing instability while flying with the bumpers, they your bumpers were not installed tightly. The bumpers I was using did not change the weight distribution or the flight characteristics at all. As another commenter pointed out, this is a problem with the Avata that was reported by many people and the software patch DJI implemented to attempt to fix this issue only works if you have enough height for the software to take away your control over the aircraft by kicking it into normal mode in a hover.

Wow this was so helpful. Question - for the 18mm wide lens camera, I want to put a 67mm lens over it, would I be looking for a 49mm to 67mm step up? Moment website says the diameter of the 18mm wide camera is 49mm,. The rubber protrusions seem critical....
@jackofmanytrades16 күн бұрын
So if you have the wide lens, you need to use the lens adapter kit and you would have to use the rubber adapter for the wide lens to adapt it to the 67 mm filter. If you don’t have the lens adapter kit, you won’t be able to use any filters whatsoever.
@AdamVick-y9w16 күн бұрын
@@jackofmanytradesI ordered the adapter kit from Moment right away. What’s interesting (and annoying) to me is that Moment doesn’t specify or speak much to any of the rubber attachments. If you look at the image on their website, it shows the “step up” piece, but only 2 rubber attachments (and one of them is clearly squared for the anamorphic, etc) I ordered it and hoping this works
@jackofmanytrades16 күн бұрын
Yes, the square one is for the anamorphic. There are several circular pieces in the kit. So you will just have to use the largest rubber piece for the wide lens or the new versions of the telephoto. I agree. It’s a bit frustrating.
@AdamVick-y9w16 күн бұрын
@ if you go their website and search “67mm Mobile Lens Filter Mount - All Series”, it shows only 2 rubber pieces, one is obviously square, and only 1 circular option….so not sure if that’s what you mean by the larger one (the circular is larger than the square) but as for circular ones, there’s one option
@jackofmanytrades16 күн бұрын
Oh they must have come out with a new version of the adapter. In the video, I was showing the original version which was a little pouch that had 3 or 4 rubber pieces you could swap in and out of a metal piece that adapted to 67 mm filter threads.

I was wondering,when you use the rs3 mini or the pro with an iPhone do you use the Dji mimo application or the ronin app, do any of those apps work while using the gimbal? How using the trigger can you stop and start recording, I wonder also if you connect the lighting cable to the phone then to the gimbal? Any ideas has anyone done this ? Thanks so much for the tutorial 😊
@jackofmanytradesАй бұрын
You’re welcome! Unfortunately since the gimbal is not intended for use with an iPhone (or any phone really), you will need to use the onscreen controls for the phone to start and stop recording. The Bluetooth protocol on the gimbal isn’t compatible with the phone. Same with a wired connection. That said, if you wanted to have wireless functions for start stop, I’d say, you could probably get a Bluetooth remote for starting recording on your iPhone. Maybe something like this: amzn.to/4gLqQqy

Keep in mind that I’m a cook, not a photo/videograoher. I have purchased this prompter for use with my channel. I have an issue that I can’t seem to figure out. I have placed my ZVE10 all over the camera “shelf”…meaning as far forward and rearward as possible and I have tilted the prompter screen as far back and forth as possible (and still be useable) and I still get the iPad clamp tips in my view when the camera is not zoomed in at all. Advice? Yes, I can zoom in a bit and get passed them, but should I have to? Thanks for any help! And thanks for a great informative video!
@jackofmanytrades2 ай бұрын
Hey, sorry to hear you’ve been having such an issue. It depends, I think, a lot on the focal range of your lens. If you’re using a 16-28 mm or something like that that is very wide. That may be one of the problems. Another possible problem is perhaps the camera shelf is sitting too far back on the track. If you move the entire thing forward and secure it in a different hole, that may help you as well.

With a RAW workflow, is it still necessary to use CINE mode to change exposure distribution? MXF can be adjusted for exposure all the time in davinci
@jackofmanytrades4 ай бұрын
So the major thing to keep in mind is. The MXF method is NOT RAW. It allows non-RAW clips to behave as RAW. The other thing is that you must use Cine EI. If you don’t, you’ll not be able to convert the clips to the MXF files. Hopefully this clears things up a bit for you.

I just bought the scribe as the bundled price was less than the stand-a-lone scribe. Having never had a kindle, always a kindle fire, I was actually disappointed with it and was all set to return it. However, it's been a few weeks now and I have decided to keep it. Long story short, I live on an island and we recently lost power due to a hurricane. The Scribe performed admirably - with long battery life and the backlit light, no electricity was needed to use my device. Once you realise what this device is designed for, it tends to grow on you!

@jackofmanytrades5 ай бұрын
I mean a backpack that can hold a lot of equipment is the entire purpose of getting a bag like this. A professional tripod will never fit in a bag so I’m not exactly sure what you mean here. If you’re thinking of a travel tripod, you can fit one in the side pocket with a strap. It has a rain cover in the front pocket. I’m also pretty sure I showed off the expansion of the front part where gimbals go.

@jackofmanytrades5 ай бұрын
Only you can make that call. I’d say, the blade can definitely do both. But it’s a gaming laptop at the end of the day with really high spec hardware so battery life will suffer. You also have to account for the power brick everywhere you go. Since it’s not USB C, you cannot just leave it at home to take a more compact option.
