This is a great and informative video. I tried this method, but discovered that this method is not too effective for those with an angled pipe for the sewage. More effective for those with a straight pipe into the black tank. If you got tips let me know, as when I get about as deep as you get, I hit what I believe is the connecting points between the pipes and I can't get it above that lip with this PEX tube.

Good video Paul but you didn’t really mention headroom enough! The headroom in the fifth wheel is much better than the other 2 and much better for taller people! Also, the Ranger is a much better vehicle for days out than a small tow car 👍😎

I have this style hitch but it’s a Reese. It only has 5000 miles on it and the amount of slop in it is ridiculous. Every time I stop or take off it bangs back and forth from the play in it. The hitch is 14 years old but it’s in like new condition. Is there any adjustment in these hitches? I don’t think Reese makes these anymore because I can’t find any info on them. PIA

Hi Paul do you have any good condition fifth wheels that are 30 feet long no more than 31 feet it’s to go on a camp site in Spain the pitch is 10 metre by 8 metre cheers.

Tha5s all dandy but can't open the tank without water continuing to come in. Also m8ne is hooked to city. No black tank.

Thank you for sharing we are on our second trip after purchasing a previously owned rv. At this point we don’t tow a vehicle so couldn’t run to a local hardware store. My husband used a stiff hose that was left in the storage space and it WORKED!!!!!! 🎉

You glossed over the wedge setting which is the most important part of the installation of a sidewinder hitch. Too loose and the trailer will wiggle side to side and feel unsafe while towing, too tight and you won't be able to unhook your trailer from the hitch. .

We’ve only had our RV for about a year and never owned one before. It’s an old one but been good so far. We have it parked at friend’s and don’t plan to move it. This worked perfectly today and thanks so much for sharing!
