That was either the best piloting I have ever seen or some good electronics.

All maneuvers are manually controlled by the pilot. No electronic help here.

I love F3P because the F3P motor manufacturers always produce the motors with a swappable 4mm hollow shaft that helicopter FPV needs to use for light weight and direct drive. I am a helicopter FPV pilot, not a F3P pilot. Oh, and the precision lightweight servos for F3P are just perfect for helicopter FPV.

Some serious talent needed to design and build models that light! Then excellent flying skills as well! 👍

My God, what beautiful, precision flying! 🙂 I used to compete in Pattern flying back in the days of glow engines; I had a "FOCUS" 2-meter aircraft, powered by a YS-FS-140Z, Great when the YS was running properly, but horribly cantankerous in cold weather (forget about flying in any temperatur less than 45 degrees F.!) . I had a few successes at the "Basic" level, taking a couple of 1st & 2nd place trophies, but didn't go past the Intermediate level. I quit competiton after one contest where everything went wroung short of a crash; cracked the landing gear on the Focus due to the runway (this particular club had their runway atop an old landfill, & it sploed UP! - As a result, my usual landing flare wan't sufficien). 🥺 Did a quick makeshift repair on the landing gear, but then the YS got cantankerous & started running rough; by the end of the contest I was a nervous wreck, decided that it wasn't "fun" anymore, & quit competing. I still fly for fun, mostly electric park flyer4s & UMX planes now. VERY interesting aircraft design with the contr-rotating props! (No torque effects!). 😎
