I don't think ANYONE in this Solar system has put out a video with more application variations of the "signature" 7-Star Praying Mantis technique known as "Praying Mantis Catches A Cicada"... MUCH RESPECT!!!

It's useless for modern combat but if the power can be used in sanshou training it may be useful.. otherwise a waste of time...only for health or exercises for fitness it may be ok and culture education ❤

My first Kung-Fu idol, strangely enough, WASN'T Bruce Lee, it was Lo Meng. He played "the Toad" in 5 Venoms & the title character in "Kid With The Golden Arm". He's a practitioner of Chao-Garr-Kuen, Southern Praying Mantis. I'm a practitioner of Southern shaolin 5-Animal, but I like what I see of Mantis Fist; it looks very effective & physically beneficial. If I had the opportunity to learn it, I definitely would.

It's not just about the style. Depends whom study the martial arts or self-defense.

This style is very effective for street self defense, all the techniques are essentially dirty boxing plus joint locks and trips Just a psa

Most kit entailed that you operate the aspis with one hand and the doru with another. He should be demonstrating those techniques accordingly, but only shows spear attacks using two hands. We really need more hands on research through more sparring.

Excellent demonstration of the form! Swift hands and feet. The sequence and techniques of the form are just as I learned it. MUCH RESPECT to Sifu Ying Sheng Wu! Thanks for posting this video!

All of the head ducking is very silly, and the arms aren’t powered by the rest of the body. Wushu really did try to strip everything good from martial arts.

I think every people can't be Spartan warriors because spartan warriors must train after he come into the world But I respectfully with this martial arts, because I like spartan:) Btw I'm sorry if my English is bad:v
@kronoscamron74123 жыл бұрын
You can be a formidable warrior, even if you don't train from birth, you just had to put in extra effort because, learning from young is easier .
