No spacers needed. You can run 11.50-12.50 wide with no spacers

Thanks for replying bud, this video kinda inspired me to try this. Swapped beam, leafs, hangers, and I had to do spindles too bc the oil caps on the kingpins were welded on 🤦 the new spindles needed a different tie rod assembly for me too. I had a hard time sourcing that pitman arm you used but after a couple tries found one that was about 13 inch. Sht was a lot of work 😅

Here in the US front brakes have been a standard thing since I believe the early 70’s. There are older trucks out there with no front brakes

You could order Detroit Diesel engines pretty much in Kenworth, Peterbilt, Freightliner, International 12V71 and 8V71 and then they come out with a 8V92 which had a turbo and a blower and they also had a 6V92

Debating this one, but 7 gauge floor, fenders, 12 inch crossmembers (17k+) vs a Kaufman (11.4k...less heavy duty, but bigger axles and payload). Sounds like the diamond C isn't worth it? Also concerned the lower diamond c rear will drag trying to tailgate gravel.

So for the most part if you would have order the 7 ga. body/floor and the 12" on center cross rails the trailer would be a good trailer for what your doing. Thank you for the video.

How bout different offset rims to prevent tire rub. That is sketchy , the engineers should have corrected that! No excuse .
