Nice to see the fun they're having after hearing about the tension/etc that supposedly existed. And let me add that while she looks very casual/etc here, Kate is still hot and has a smile that could melt glaciers.

I still haven't watched TATV. I was warned at the time it aired that I wouldn't like it and I was in the middle of taking my finals at Uni. Every so often I think I'll watch and then I decide to watch Terra Prime instead and quickly stop before it auto plays TATV!

The low budget was an important part of the charm to the show. It's something the newer big budget movies and shows are missing.

Come on People, Leonard has been with God now for 9 years. Isn't it time to let all the speculations as to why he quit talking to William Shatner go. We will never know, Leonard isn't here to tell us, which I doubt he would tell us anyway. If William Shatner really knows why, he's not going to tell anyone. Besides, it's none of our business. Let us, please, remember Leonard for all the good things he did, not that he stopped talking to William Shatner. Thank you. LLAP

Totally agree! I don't rewatch that last episode. I know it won't happen, but I'd love to Enterprise start up again with a season 5. The show had a number of multi-episode arcs where the second or third episode started with catching you up, Well, season 5 episode one could start with a big catchup on what's happened since season four (minus anything that happened in the finale that was just a holodeck program). It could explain any personnel changes and anything else of importance. Then take off again and hopefully get more exploring (and less fighting). But if it still has to be combat heavy, so be it. I loved the unique take in so many episodes that highlighted how things were in the early days. It would be a more mature crew, but not ready for retirement. Besides if some crew can't return, they could be filled with a few younger cast members. Or replaced with another actor in a similar role to serve the same purpose. But it would be nice if more of the crew could return. And then I wake up from my dream, lol.

_Enterprise_ should have ended like _Farscape_ did: Have the final Episode of Season 4 end on a cliffhanger (setting up the start of the Earth-Romulan War) and then complete the story with a Miniseries released a few months later. One that covers the Battle of Cheron, the end of the War, the founding of the Federation *and Archers' Speech, god damn it!* And then finish it with an epilogue, with an elderly T'pol attending the Maiden Voyage of the NCC-1701, bringing the franchise full circle.

The lore of the series, as brought by Manny Coto, the man who wrote Trek stories in other shows before he landed season 4 and made the fanbase 'WANT' it. Archer was a good foil to the fans expectations, going from bright and optimistic, to jaded and lamenting his dreams and his fathers hopes as he wrestled with the galaxy as it was... But always hopeful that he could make things better, and defy the Vulcans expectation that humans would relapse. Like the title poster said, 'Meet James Kirks hero'

If they'd just gotten one more season... baby Elizabeth would reportedly have survived, Shran would have joined the main cast, and the fledgling Federation would have been up to its nose in Romulan intrigue. I think it would have gone its full seven planned seasons.

These Are The Voyages was well-intentioned but badly executed. Terra Prime (the penultimate episode) was a superb episode which would have made an a amazing finale. Events in it were symbolic to the eventual federation and the coming together of species.

@@Sephiroth144 Right. As anything but a series ender, it's "hey, they found a way to stick Jonathan Frakes into another Trek". Counting directing, he's up to eight now. Nine if you give him credit for that MCI commercial he did with the whole TOS cast. Having him sort of be Trek's answer to John Ratzenberger would be a good in-joke. But even Mr. Frakes was quoted as saying he shouldn't have been there.

Twisted is my favorite episode! I love seeing them confused and wandering around. And then when Paris remarks, "I don't suppose anyone knows the way to the bridge?", before anyone has even fully realized the ship has been reconfigured, I totally lose it! Do you remember what the question was directly preceding this?
@TrekPanels
@TrekPanels 8 ай бұрын
I don’t (this was back in early 2020, a week before the world shut down, and this is the start of where I hit “record”), but I’d guess it was about a least favorite episode - the cast has talked repeatedly about Twisted being one that none of them (possibly including the director) got or understood the story they were telling. They also had to go back and add *eight minutes* to the episode later, it ran so short, so five scenes and various added dialog were added after the initial filming. Literally 19% of the episode runtime was added later. 😳 So some of the nicer character exchanges were probably not part of the actors’ experience filming that week, given so much was added and filmed later. I agree - it isn’t a *favorite* of mine, but absolutely middle of the road for me, and not remotely in my bottom of season two rankings! But I’d imagine for the actors, shooting a bad or boring script beats shooting one you can’t figure out? It certainly worked out fine as an end product!

Well, I can’t “get it,” because this is the telling (in response to someone’s direct question) I was present for, and unfortunately Leonard is no longer with us. But it was the first time I’d heard this story, so I will google for a joint telling someone else may have captured and shared! If you have a link, please paste it in here, and I’ll add it to the video description for another perspective. I think (hope!) we all assume Shatner’s perspective on his own actions with a healthy grain of salt, especially now with the recordings of conflicting versions so prevalent.
