the Benz has less power and more weight. I was actually surprised that it did keep up so well from the start. Likely the fact it has more weight might have been an advantage in the first meters ( depending on the ration of the additional friction capability of the tires and additional mass to move ). If you tune the Benz to close to 650 hp, the outcome would not be so different.

@@davidsamuel2418 production eas the key word and so far no McLaren was able to beat Turbo S to 1/4 mile 10.1 seconds. Go check Carwow and see for past 3 years even 918 can't beat the Turbo S.

Being beaten by a Porsche engineering masterpiece?? They kept up for the first few seconds, Mercedes is still great lol, just because it didn't beat Porsches quickest turbo model doesn't mean it's a trash car
