OK, I can't tell you how much I loved this video! I am planning a "No spend January" with the exception of a 3 day getaway my husband and I have to La Jolla for our Christmas gift to each other. So we will be eating out, drinking good coffee, and you know I will be visiting the bookstore there and also the Friends of the Library sale at the library there. Other than that, I will try hard not to spend on extra stuff. One way I save on impulse buying at the grocery store is ordering online and doing pickup. That helps me not seeing all the tempting goodies in the aisles! Looking forward to tomorrow's video!

Island Of Sea Women is in my top 5 reads of all time. After reading it please Google about the women who the book is about and to this day still are doing their amazing job😊

I have read three books by Heather Gudenhauf, most recently The Overnight Guest. I've enjoyed them all...4 stars each one.

Just to clarify, my book is not about ME/CFS in particular or any treatments - it's more about the emotional coping side of things - meant for anyone with any kind of chronic medical condition. All the ME/CFS treatment info is on my blog :) I'm interested in The Anxious Generation because anxiety is affecting so many of my younger family members. Wellness sounds good. I also remember trying to teach my mom about Facebook! My son feels the same way about audio books - I can't imagine listening at double speed! I think I would miss a lot.

Very well done and I am certain useful to so many people. And thank you for acknowledging the loss of a pet as well. It really is so hard. I feel it a lot this time of year because my mom passed away December 5th, 2013 and my grandfather on Christmas Eve when I was 7. Grief shows up when we least and most expect it. Good tips you’ve shared!!

This is such an important topic. You're absolutely correct in the weird changing dynamic of a space after loss. I don't have experience with the chronic illness side either so that was a good thing for me to hear and keep in mind. I think the body wash example is sweet and a nice way of keeping comforting memories. And sweet Remy.....I feel for you. I lost my Ethel heart dog Dec 6, 2021. She was almost 18, and every year we had pictures of her by our side making gingerbread men/decorating the tree. It's still hard and probably always will be. Thankfully I always have dogs and am making memories with the ones that are here ❤
