in Belgium the channel will just show the message with notice of termination of Analog TV Signal in Dutch & French but in Romania Analog TV is still up in 2023

In Indonesia, especially for Greater Jakarta area and some other cities, there was a special analog switch-off countdown event like 2:05 as well, and on channels that aired that special program (some stations didn't aired, and even still continuing analog broadcast), when the time has come (November 3 2022 00:00AM), they just cut the analog signal (resulted blank/noisy screen), while the digital ones continued airing the event.

ISDB-T is the best. Even 1SEG. No glitches while watching DTV in moving vehicle everywhere. ATSC 1.0 is the worst glitches and no signal even you move antenna or even in moving vehicle.

In my country we won't switch the analog antenna feed anytime soon, since many people still use the old NTSC used here. Edit: have to reply here since fsr it won't let me reply. Anyways my country is chile, and analog NTSC still runs here

@@Sammy4549 Chile located near south of Pacific Ocean in South America, they used ISDB-T there. Comes with EWBS Emergency warning broadcast system if there’s any earthquake or disasters.

Technical reasons, mainly. Some countries won’t support analog transmissions anymore due to the cost of maintaining older equipment, some others to sell the bandwidth to mobile operators or for military use, etc
