What a noob😂😂😂 You need an aged Jamaican Rum as a primary base; followed by a molases based Martinique rum or a blend of Jamaican with Guyanese rum or a demerara rum. But a good Jamaican rum is mandatory for a mai tai!!

@@firstsipcouk you can also get a Jamaican instead of Captain Morgan to make a Mai Tai…do your research before making a Mai Tai pal…Go get an Appleton 8 year reserve for a starter one rum Mai Tai; and get EL Dorado 5 year or 8 year for a two rum Mai Tai. Won’t break the wallet. Hell even Appleton signature is 1000 times better compared to Captain Morgan…when you drink a proper MAI TAI; you will understand.
