I recall a talk Lona gave at our church in the 90's - I did the recording - it was all planned with Lona's permission and she said that we could have the recording available for loan at our reading room.then, she pulled her permission! Never did understand that. She also told us the story of how her house was in the path of a wildfire in Laguna Beach Ca AND HOW THE HOUSE did not burn! along with I think she said a Bible in the house by the front door.. There was also another house that did not burn I think that she said. I did find a video years ago from CNN documenting this story. I guess I am the only one who ever heard the recording, which I still have.

I remember in the late 90's-early 2000's a decision was made to lessen the deep content of the Journal, for shorter Sentinel type of articles. Many of us said ''No big mistake". The Journal set CS apart, in it's depth from more bite size new agey ideas that were popular. It was all downhill after that. Very sad times to see what all has happened the last 20 years.

The residential program at Arden Wood, sounds very interesting. I used to live at Tenacre Foundation, a ministry of Christian Scientists, in Princeton, NJ, as a Christian Scientist -in-Residence. I lived in an apartment complex called Edgewood, and later moved to a cottage, (both on Tenacre’s campus). I also briefly lived in rooms at The Center, which is a building for visitors, temporary staff, and for short-term stays.

This video was so much my thoughts on believing I will be healed in day's. I was healed of throat cancer years ago and had many healings all through my life. Now I'm at my wit's end ,wondering why I'm trying to force this healings but I'm having a hard time walking around so fear has set in. I will readjust my thinking.you were a great help for me to know God is all present.your video will be a great help to all . I'm very grateful for all of your help. Ty

It's good to remember that when people in Christian Science talk about disease being "unreal" it's based on the spiritual man, God's image, and likeness as explained in Genesis 1, verses 26 and 27.

I could give you a lot more, about childhood friends that died for lack of medical care due to the CS beliefs, and later, my father, mother and sister died from the same neglect that is Christian Science in a nutshell. How many relatives are you ready to sacrifice on the alter of your faith? After they die, you will be asked to "remember, there is no death".
