I've been to every game my son's in the band. Anyways I was moving the band truck and I was sick to my stomach when we were down in the third quarter and I went to go drop off a load and the Band Room of the xylophones and all that and when I got back 25 minutes later we were down by 11 points. When I came back we're up by 10:00 I have no idea but thank God we pulled it out because I haven't felt that sick of my life in a long time it was a good game though

Bands have always added excitement & tradtion to HS & college games. I used to love hanging around after games listening to the band add to the celebration after a win or lift spirits after a loss. These guys are really dedicated spending hours on end during August practicing in the same heat as the football teams.

We always highlight the winning team to avoid videos being too long and losing teams don't typically want to watch videos from a game they lost. We will be posting shorts and reels of Helena's big plays today and this week.

Woke up to 58 degrees this morning. The invigorating COooool breeze that smacked me in the face upon opening the door was heavenly. I began to wonder if I had slept straight through to October until I received the notification that episode 1 of the SCR football show was available!!! IT’s TIME FOR FOOTBALL!!! Thanks to the SCR team for providing excellent, exciting, in-depth, coverage each week. Most media outlets now either ignore or provide the bare minimum of coverage. Parents, coaches, students, teachers, boosters, & countless volunteers make huge sacrifices of time, money, & effort each year to make the season work. They deserve every ounce of recognition, publicity, and thanks for their dedication & hard work. God bless, best wishes, good luck & I hope everyone has a safe & successful season.
