@@richphoenix9605 in my head canon, he has been lifting a lot of heavy stuff when he was younger, working for his dad at the farm. That and he’s been lifting a lot of heavy stuff by saving people when he’s Superman, so that built muscles there.

For me, the new design is cool! Kids will appreciate that kind of design because it’s not just adults who are being considered-especially the children. For me, there’s nothing wrong with the new costume; it even gives me a throwback to my childhood.

I got mine the other day, and it's every bit as cool as I hoped it would be. For me, the only true Superman was Chistopher Reeve. I like Henry Cavill, too, but still, it's CR for me.

I noticed the nose was a little bit thicker than it was supposed to be, but I'm your vídeo seems such a minor thing, the figure looks way better than I expected. Awesome review man and great thumbnail. Your Nuclear Man custom looks great next to him in my opinion.

No, unfortunately. AC1000’s wrist pegs are too thick for Reeve’s hands to fit on.

You could put it that way. The Page Puchers version seems to have a better "nose sculpt" . I'm planning on removing the cell shading on one Page Punchers figure and repaint the eyes to see what I can get. I found some markers that are really easy to paint on plastic, I hope it works.

I feel 5POA reviewer will do something like that once he receives this figure. This trunks is perfect. It’s clean, very flexible, and it looks like it would fit on almost any Superman figure other than DKR one.

I think people who missed out on him, still have Ali Express as a chance. I got some figures I missed on release from them, and they're original. Some figures pop in and out for pre-order on BBTS, I saw this figure available more than once in the last two weeks on BBTS, some people might find a better deal somewhere else or find him in store and they cancel the pre-order.

@@theotherguy21 I meant a classic Superboy back in the 70’s. Also it could be the kind of skinny Superboy that teamed up with Legion of Superheroes. That’s the version I think of that this can easily work as a reuse.

@@knighttakespawn yeah I just checked online after the review, totally forgot it was gold. I did some testing and found that Reeve’s hands fit perfectly on DC Classic smiling Superman. Unfortunately, skin tones are different shades.

@@jam_2315 unfortunately, I really tried to swap the wrist pegs, but it’s very tightly snug inside the forearm, and it just won’t let me pull it out. I wanted to use pliers, but I don’t want to mangle or possibly damage the wrist joint (I damaged the wrist joint on Keaton Batman and won’t do that again).

I think the trunks is oversized. I don't think they're going to make it look like this in the movie. What makes it look off is the lack of mass in the chest combined with the oversized trunks. Imagine a McFarlane figure based on the look of the available images, definitely a potential peg warmer.

Looks that way. You’re right the trunks look a bit big. His physique in real life is impressive. BS that they had to put this very mediocre outfit that completely covers up his muscular physique. David worked hard like hell on his body and it got wasted by this bland looking suit. Shame on Gunn for greenlighting this suit.

In real life, I think it's to be expected that any outfit will hide the muscles of the actor. I heard someone saying that Christopher Reeve somehow managed to not look ridiculous in the outfit, and that was really impressive. I believe his face shape, especially the jaw, his height and the amount of hair he had at the time, all worked together to convey a good look. Even with all the meticulous work Zack Snyder and his team put on Cavill's suit, he didn't looked always great because of minor things in some scenes, but that's my opinion. I think he looked great in Man of Steel throughout the whole movie.

Another thing that came to my mind, Chris Evans in the MCU looks more appropriate for the concept of the character. Soldiers do wear baggy suits.

@@lfabio.n Cavill looked amazing in that suit, but he looked bad in Reeve’s evil Superman suit. A meticulously designed suit to fit a person can make a huge difference. Corenswet’s loose suit may grow on us after we watch this new movie. I’m just whelmed by it, basically.

I would not mind with the design. However, I want Superman to be super, or at least athletic build shown when he is on the suit. So far, it looks like he is just a cosplayer, or like the old black-white Superman tv series. Hope they add some muscles definiton or bulk in some areas in post productiin. Let's say the silhouette doesn't look like Superman at this moment, Cavil looked so much better.

Yeah, Cavill’s suit looks way better. I think I can see what Gunn is going for. His thick suit reminds me of Chris Evans Captain America in the first Avengers movie. We’ll just have to wait and see what Gunn’s Superman is like on the big screen.

This was a great and thorough review. I also really appreciated showing off how the digital thing works. I’ve been redeeming my digitals, but don’t have a pc, so can’t view them lol I’d love for them to make an app for mobile to be able to view the digital on. Also, if you hold every digital for a wave, you get 50% off of other waves of McFarlane stuff. The digitals really have an advantage that I don’t think people are really using.

Mafex heads actually do swap if you swap the neck pieces too fyi. The Mafex ROS head & neck on Mafex Hush body actually look better than the Hush stock version as ROS size/proportions align much better with the Hush body imo.

They’re printed pictures from Diorama Prints website. You’d have to get your own boards for them to be glued on so they can sit upright. They’re a pain to do, but worth it!
