that's not a rev limiter, that's just how high it will rev. Only the newer fuel injected ktm 2 strokes have rev limiters (and some of the newer carbd ktm's)

I can tell since he has a new bike that already has a full exhaust, but holding it wide open is fine. My bike has 40 hours and I ride it wide open all the time and it’s fine
