Always try the latest version of the KNX virtual(from my.knx.org>shop>product) and ETS. for database nowadays import the version1.0 , keep windows updated .

I dont get the concept of repeater and line coupler. If I locate my coupler in 1.2.0 as a Repeater does it still execute under 20 devices ? for example: 1.2.0 as a repeater up to 1.2.21. Does it work? or it has to be line coupler?

1.2.0 is line coupler and not repeater. when u order they are same but in configuration the physical address and database are different.

They are the topics provided by knx association training materails and my 13 year experince in this field . As bms engineer students should know hvac in derails to help them how to control it . Even knx add hvac course and nowadays if you need to learn hvac in knx you should have another course and advance course followed by new topics which may be more complicated . Bms is hybrid knowledge .

For the devices before 2018 , we can not extend the main line, so we can include 64 devices minus the LC. For the devices after that if they support new topology we can have 256 DVC minus LC.
