So my mortgage loan company said I am offered 225k, which is 25k free. I am new at all this, but how does it become free if it's included in that price of the 225k and how does the 25k go away? So shouldn't I just pay back 200k instead of 225k? Also my loan mortgage place said my loan payment will be 1,895$ and in order to hit my sweet spot where I want to pay at 1,200$ ill need 80k down-payment out of my pocket? Please help me understand because if that 25k is considered a down-payment, it'll be 105k down?!?!? Thanks much

My 9th grade high school science teacher was one of the owners of Balleks garden center. Only issue one may have with living over in East Haddam is the lack of first responders resources if you have an emergency help is coming from a ways away.

Thanks it's a beautiful suburb of Hartford. I grew up in the 1960's/1970's,arosst the CT river in Old Wethersfield, another beautiful and historic town. Us kids we would ride our bikes to the Rocky Hill ferry, take the short ride to Glastonbury. When I was 19,my DR was there and my Dentist. I've been fishing with my family, at Keeney Cove, a part of the CT. river. Ive swimming a Cotton Hollow. Also there used be a Cider Mill in an old barn..

It was definitely designed that way as the fireplace is right in the middle of the entire house! I do believe the new buyers planned on installing one. The previous owners (and builders of the house) enjoyed open fires which provided both heat and ambiance! I think I’m torn on which one I would want although with fuel prices nowadays and having all that acreage for trees a nice big “all-nighter” would be pretty appealing!

You are not kidding!! The previous owner made great use of the fireplace and If I was the new owner I would totally install a wood stove. Plenty of trees to live off the land for awhile!

I saw them too. Electric heating was all ‘the rage’ out on Long Island (Hampton’s) in the 1970’s, then electric rates soared!🙀

Boy, a lot has changed there in my hometown. I was born in East Hartford in 1960 and I lived in East Hampton up to 1977 when I joined the Army. I used to live on Starr Place, just up the hill from the center of town. I hope to come back there again soon for a visit.
