i snapped something in mine today lifting myself up from my elbows cause my back and ass was killing me. wonder if the spring is what snapped. it goes up and down but has no ratcheting anymore so its useless

Yep it’s that clip inside that broke. Same happened to mine. I took the clip out of the passenger seat armrest and put it in the driver seat. They sell the y clips on Amazon tho if you wanted to buy a replacement.

Manual says to use feeler gauge on camshaft. The pivot point of the rocker is closer to the tappet than it is to the contact point on the cam, so it would be two different clearances.

Mechanics who deal with this engine all the time say that if you tighten the adjuster screw down (lightly!!!!), then back it off 1/4 turn, you'll be close enough.

Your video helped me some much.. I wanted to remove my armrest because my cab is small, I couldn't fit between the seats.. if you have a Kenworth T800 you will understand lol

hi Philip, John here I have a 1995 overhead cam 2 cylinder robbins engine with no spark . put in a new coil an still no spark . can you help me out

Did you change the igniter box? Also make sure all the wiring is good. If still no spark it could be the pick up on the flywheel.
