McMichael is on the second line and dropped to PP2, which doesn’t help his fantasy value. Thought that would change with Ovi’s return, but Chychryn remained on PP1 last night and registered a goal and an assist. Interesting that the Caps are going with two D guys (Carlson is the other one) on PP1. Maybe that’ll change…

Trade in my league just went through (banger/cats). Team 1 gets: Dougie H, Batherson and Parayko Team 2 gets: Bouchard, Panarin and Forsling For me myself it feels like a huge win for team 2. But maybe I am just too focused on past year's performances, what do you guys think?

I agree that this is a win for Team 2! Obviously giving up current studs in Batherson and Hamilton is big but the potential of what Bouchard and Panarin can do is too large to pass up. If bouchard can turn his game around in the second half of this season to how he was playing last year then this is a massive win for Team 2

They need a top 6 center, at least 1 bottom 6 winger, and at least 1 top 4 D. While also deciding on what to do within management. It's unlikely the Rangers will get younger with the players they are likely trading out. I don't see how it's done. On the other hand, if the Rangers go into a rebuil, they could own the next 3-4 drafts and plunder prospect pools. While weaponizing cap space for a couple seasons. Think about it, Panarin, Fox, and Igor alone are enough to start 2 rebuilds.

That's a tempting trade! I don't think I would personally make that offer or accept it but if your willing to give up the peripheral points from Meier for a better blueliner I wouldn't be mad either. Looks like a good trade depending on what you need help with.

Stolarz on IR....grabbed Kuemper but think I should have grabbed Lehk. I have Gus, Daccord as my other goalies...should I redrop Kuemper for Lehk? I got Rakell, Rant, Tuch, Forsberg, Granlund, Brady Tk., Bedard and Dylan Strome as my forwards. Pts redraft league

I think Kuemper is underrated and will hold more value than Rakell if the Kings continue to play good defense and he’s healthy. Hes a consistently good pts producer which can be hard to find in net. Lehk is also a better option than rakell in my opinion even acknowledging the rank.

If you could get Hyman and Marner or Verhaeghe and Johnston that would be unreal value for a guy who is likely not to repeat this kind of production again, nor has he really before at this clip. If you could swing either of those I would be a very happy GM, to be sure.

Is this price right? Last night I traded Kucherov, Nelson and Kent Johnson for Brady katchuk and William nylander and Joel Erickson ek(IR). And tonight’s kuch scores 6 points against flames. 15+man league with points based. I am hoping I will be better off in the long run. What do you guys think?

Tough, is this a keeper league? I think you got the best all-around piece in Brady, and Willy's offensive upside is crazy high. I think you won the trade TBH, but it really would depend on the format I think. I personally like it but it's a pretty fair trade. I like it.

@@MrBigFlizz Honestly, I don't know what you call the league I am in. This is my second year in fantasy hockey among a pool of 18 people. We get a point for a goal and assist. A point if the goaltender wins or 3 for a shutout. You guys should do a video explaining the different types of leagues. Love the insights so far

Great episode. I picked up Blackwood as well. But now I have a dilemma. I have Gustavsson Demko and Kuemper too in standard 12 team points league. No one will be intrigued enough to trade for anyone other than Gus. But what forward could I get for him 1 for 1 or even package a player with? I got IR players coming back in Dahlin and Miller soon and no real drop candidates.

@ 12 teams pretty much standard h2h pts with some hits and blocks too. No positions just F D G.

If you do end up making a trade for a forward, you will still have to drop two players in order to activate Dahlin & Miller off IR. I would consider dropping Kuemper if you don't need 4 goalies. Depending on what you need you could target top tier players such as Konecny, Bratt, Josi in a 1 for 1 trade.

Steele, Flip, I’m hurt that you thought my trade was that bad 😅 I traded for Tkachuk. It is a 12 player keeper league. I have plenty of guys worthy of keeping. My team is very deep so I thought I could sacrifice the depth to land one of the best fantasy studs. Especially in a cats league that includes hits and PIMs. I have 11 other guys that I can keep. Monahan has been on par with Debrincat this year. Heiskanen and Jeek are both underperforming. Caufield is the one that was the toughest to give up, but when the return includes Tkachuk and another very serviceable guy like Lee, I thought it was best for my team. I’ll make a similar trade with one of you guys in the listener league. Hit me up! 🤙
