you need to do a better research work.. Kuala Lumpur federal territory or KL city centre has 2 millions plus pop.. the greater metro area has about 9 million in total.. you people really need to get away from the cliché tourist trap.. Jesus Christ won't be subscribing.. so freaking boring.. think out of the box..

nice relaxing vlog...so which city do u like more? KL or Melaka
@annaharvley4 күн бұрын
@@jameshetfield1792 I think I liked the chill vibe of Melaka more, though there's more of a variety of attractions in KL. Melaka felt really comfortable, like i could stay there and get to know my neighbors.

Actually, in Singapore you CAN leave your things and go get your food. Locals do it all the time.
@annaharvley28 күн бұрын
@@ashmarsim I'm learning that from the comments and I wish I'd known at the time because it would have alleviated some of my stress. But try telling an anxious american that in the moment- we dont trust people 😅

As an American, I can tell you that our cities are perfect, our way of life is perfect, and our society is perfect. We don't need to learn from anyone. Other countries need to learn from us. That's why people from all over the world want to migrate to America. The U.S. is as perfect as it comes.

I'm always disappointed that most foreigners just go to Marina Bay Sands n other super expensive tourist traps. Even then, I'm further disappointed that few quick trip travellers don't make the effort to see our 3 world class zoos Mandai Zoo, Night Safari n River Safari. I'll grant they're not terribly cheap but they're beautiful n our animals are very healthy n happy. U shd also see our beautiful Peranakan Museum. There are a few Peranakan enclaves scattered thru out Asia but each community has its own flavor. Google for more info. Also, Singapore is one of the safest countries in the world even for solo female travellers. Locals will just leave a pack of pocket tissues on the table to indicate that the space has been taken. I prefer using my ball cap or whatever I have that's small n handy. Although many, many people have left their phones n wallets on tables n returned to find no one has taken them, I do NOT encourage such carelessness. Use Google more. We have many places that can be cheap n fun that are off the beaten track. Little India, Geylang, Kranji War Memorial, Southern Islands, Bukit Timah Forest Reserve, Pierce Reservoir, MacRitchie Reservoir, Seletar Reservoir, Changi Beach, Easy Coast Park, etc. Check them out.

Just grab your food and ask if you can join them at the table if you see an empty seat. We are quite friendly, so all you needed was to ask for help.

Hey Anna, it was a great video. By the way is there any way to get your email ?

As said before, you should have just left a small item (ie tissue/disinfectant wipe packet etc) on the table at the hawkers centre. Its called chope-ing, and it "reserves" the table for you. Saying that, probably only Singaporeans or travellers who know would leave the table alone
@simontang1945Ай бұрын
Girl, leave your things at the table. Nobody's gonna take it
@MelvinSimKHАй бұрын
In Singapore, you leave a packet of tissues or some other item to indicate the table has been taken and you can then go get your food. I sometimes leave my ear phones on the table or a bunch of keys. Some people leave their phones as SG is considered very safe but even that’s a step too far for me. It’s a pity you isn’t take he train from the airport it would have cut your travelling time quite a bit. On the flip side, you wouldn’t have seen much of the cityscape as the train is mostly underground.
