Are those better or worse than oem?
@fawnfindsКүн бұрын
If you prioritize higher air quality and better filtration, especially for allergies or sensitive respiratory systems, the BOSCH HEPA filter is the better choice. However, if you prefer sticking to the manufacturer's specifications and want a more budget-friendly option, the OEM filter should suffice.

Fawn, here's a minor modification to your recipe to change it from banana bread to apple bread. It's truly amazing. Give it a try! APPLE BREAD - Zojirushi • Unsalted Butter - 113g (or 1 stick - shredded with cheese grater) • Eggs (beaten) - 2 large • Unsweetened Applesauce - 225g or 1 cup • Greek Yogurt - 120g or ½ cup • Vanilla - 3.5g or .5 tsp • Cinnamon Powder - 2.3g or .5 tsp • Ground nutmeg - 2.3g or .5 tsp • Ground cloves - 1/4 tsp • Bread Flour 200g (or if you have a mill, 200g fresh milled hard white berrys, ground fine and sifted. • Raw Sugar - 200g or 1 cup • Baking Soda - 4.6g or 1 tsp • Baking Powder - 4.6g or 1 tsp • Salt - 3g or ½ tsp (fine sea salt) Course: 13 Crust: Dark

I just ordered a Komo Classic grain mill. Any ideas/suggestions on using home milled flour in this incredible recipe?
@fawnfinds29 күн бұрын
Wow, that’s awesome - the Komo Classic is a serious upgrade! I’m not 100% sure, but here’s what I found online that might help. For banana bread, it sounds like soft white wheat or whole wheat pastry flour works best since they’re lighter and keep the bread from getting too dense. If you’re using hard wheat, some people suggest mixing it with all-purpose flour (about 50/50) to get a softer texture. Fresh-milled flour can absorb liquid differently, so you might need to keep an eye on the dough during mixing. If it looks too dry, you can add a tablespoon of milk or water at a time until it matches the consistency in the video. I’d love to hear how it turns out with that fresh-milled flour - I bet it’s going to be next-level good! 🍞✨
@THerd-um5tl29 күн бұрын
@@fawnfinds Thank you so much. That is solid advice. When it arrives next week, I'll get to work testing. I've also ordered a 50 mesh screen to remove most of the bran, so that may help with the density issue. I'll keep you posted! Meanwhile I'm ripening bananas! LOL.
@fawnfinds25 күн бұрын
You're welcome, and that sounds like a great plan! The 50 mesh screen should definitely help, hopefully giving you a lighter texture. Does it show a countdown of the time left right from when you push start? And how long does simple white rice take, and how long does the quick cook button take? Have you cooked quinoa in this?
@fawnfindsАй бұрын
Thanks for your question! It doesn't immediately show a countdown right when you press start. It takes a little while for the rice cooker to assess the cooking conditions and determine the required cooking time. Once it does, the countdown will appear so you can track the remaining time. For simple white rice, it usually takes about 60 minutes on the regular cycle, though this can vary depending on the amount of rice. If you use the "Quick Cook" setting, it takes around 30 minutes, though the texture may be slightly different compared to the regular cycle. I have cooked quinoa in this rice cooker, and it works great! It typically takes about the same amount of time as white rice, and the quinoa comes out fluffy and evenly cooked. Hope that helps!

@@fawnfinds Wow, it's cooling now but I couldn't resist cutting off a slice. The flavor is INCRECIBLE and the aroma in the house is better than any wax melt ever made! My banana's weren't as ripe as I would have liked (no spots), so I put them in a 325º oven for about 20 minutes (with peeling on) to speed up the process. That worked pretty well, though the loaf isn't quite as dark as yours in the video even though I used the dark crust setting. I'm sure that's why. I was in a hurry to get this started, so before I heard back from you I went ahead and used 1/2 tsp of baking soda and 1/2 tsp baking powder. Overall, this came out great and next time I'll have nice ripe bananas and use only baking soda. A huge thank you for such a great recipe AND for making an informative and pleasant video that is under 2 minutes. It's such a pleasure finding someone like yourself who gets it. My first 8 year old remote outlets started not working, I dont if problem is remote or outlet. So I bought same set your showing last month, they work better then my older ones ever did, one remote outlet is 75 ' away and light clicks on immediately....... But since I'm terrible understanding instructions, for some reason I thought the remotes had to be programed so thats what I did. Then after several weeks I noticed my other remote outlet was also coming on same time as the one 75 ' away. So today I got the instruction pamphlet and tried and tried and tried 15 times to reprogram the two remote outlets but both was still coming on same time. So I watched a video on the BN LINK remote outlet and after the part about programing the remote outlets they mention { Resetting the Outlet }<< I did'nt notice that in the pamphlet but there it was, so I followed those instructions and now my outlets work separately like I want.....

Yep, you got it! I used a regular coffee filter to line the basket, it helps keep those pesky grounds out of the coffee. For the 12-cup, I usually go with about 1 tablespoon of ground coffee per cup, but for stronger coffee, sometimes 1.5 tablespoons per cup. Since you have the 9-cup, you can use the same method, just adjust the amount of coffee to match. ☕🔥

While I've unboxed and reviewed quite a few sleeping bags, I've only had the chance to camp with a few of them. I don't camp as often as I'd like, so my real-world experience is limited. However, Coleman bags, like the Duck Harbor, have a special place for their reliability and value. As for seasonal testing, I haven't done much of that yet, but it's definitely something I'd like to explore in the future. That said, my current favorite is the Teton Celsius Regular
