The N54 is still the GOAT it started a damn cult that’s still going strong! Don’t think BMW didn’t learn a ton about the N54 hence seeing B & S58’s! Cost ya 3 grand if you do it yourself to build a N54 1200hp bottom end, pistons, rods & one piece crank hub. World record for stock engine is still 938 wheel…..🤯✌🏻💯🏁

If this is the real BurgerTuning, thank you. I got this 335d and got a piggy back tuner for it and that started my love for tuners. Now stage 2 but set up for stage 2.5 malone tune as I just got full exhaust done on it. Would love a series on the M57.

Man that’s crazy gains. Reminds of the million times I’ve heard if you tune a stock bimmer it gives it an extra 100hp! Please pump up the power I’m really excited to see what this engine can do! Also these engines can be bought online for 10k - 13k and I’m hoping to see some nice engine swaps soon.

Higher power levels is where custom tunes shine. Of course, I have an s58 and there’s no comparison in power b/w custom tune and jb4. Without dynoing the jb4 it feels like double the gain from jb4 e30 map 5

DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR BMW. multiple cases of JB4 causing transmission shifting issues with the JB4 platform being used. Something about these do not communicate through the whole car causing a power increase but no shifting or timing fixes for it. Im no expert and don have a true diagnosis but me and three friends have installed these on our M3/X3M/and M2 all G series cars and have started to create a shifting issue from the addition of the JB4.

@@BurgerMotorsports Well BMW themselves diagnosed it. Im not sure a Customer Support agent will be able to help on the scenario i believe it would need an mechanic or engineer.

@@rainNthunder BMS employees engineers who do the tuning and calibration. If you're having a shifting issue with the JB4 then something is setup wrong and you'd want to send in a JB4 log for technical assistance. Note just because shifts feel different doesn't mean anything is wrong. We firm up the shifts on some maps. A JB4 log would tell us if you have an issue or not.

@@BulliKid Using the Fuel-It Ethanol Calculator app as well as testing the ethanol percentage at pump, we can accurately tell you that the car is on E30. We are incredibly accurate when it comes to what we do with ethanol as we deal with it everyday. Fuel pressure is totally fine. Fuel trims are higher, but not anywhere near topping out. No upgrades to the fuel system to run E30. For higher ethanol percentages you will definitely need fuel system upgrades :)

I do not like those hurricane motors, though they’ve been known to have head gasket issues already so you might find your head gasket blow sooner there, bud Pushing that much power into it just letting you know

I know they had thermostat issue and I’m sure that’s what caused the head gasket issue. Over heating

The only hurricane I've heard of blowing a head gasket was driven many miles with a failed thermostat and warped the head. The Tundra motors are blowing from bad main bearings. Im not sure where you are getting your info, but I'd get a new source lol

Can we please be honest…….. It’s ABSOLUTELY not faster than a TRX. I own a TRX. I own a hurricane grand Wagoneer. I love both. The grand Wagoneer had a Jb4 on it. The driveability is NOT good. Does it make power…. Yes. Does it drive like crap yes. Wife was pissed. Looked at me like wtf is wrong with my car (btw she didn’t know I installed it). That’s an extremely honest review. She wanted it taken to dealer for warranty lol. With that said I do believe with a legit custom tune and intercooler the RHO can rival the “stock” TRX. But don’t waste your money on the JB4. BMW guys swear by the jb4 so maybe the hurricane tune needs for work but right now honestly it is trash
