Good presentation, thank you. I made a few basic apps and widgets using the ESRI Experience Buiilder SDK and i'm not really sold. My main issue is that it's closed source and a clear vendor lock-in with many open source alternatives. It's also kind of slow. Wonder how you guys feel about that.

Closed source with vendor lock in is a bad double whammy. I agree with you. But now we need to find an equal or better replacement. I am interested to hear your suggestions.

Problem: to contribute data, you need to be able to generate GVX files. I just got a ZED-F9P, and don't know any way to make GVX.

hi thankyou for a great explanation video. I am currently trying to mosaic a 1 band raster data. However all these data have an inconsistent pixel stretch value and will always result in visible seamline after mosaicking. how do i fix that?

How often is lidar out of the range of acceptability? You talk .08 meters/ approximately 3 inches, however, the weather, time of day, wind, haze, humidity, etc. Do these factors create higher uncertainty?

It would also help if there was an app that could be run as an overlay perhaps to Google Maps. It would allow you to navigate, so you are able to drive, to these benchmarks. It would collect their approximate location and would assist in the upload of the data.

I'm responding to my own comment. It turns out that there is an app called Benchmark Explorer which does a fairly good job. There are some drawbacks, it does not have satellite photography overlay, and it was made using the TomTom map overlay so it was a few metres inaccurate. Also, the roads are basically cartoon roads. Roads that I know are five Lanes wide are portrayed as two roads. I would much prefer the day to put as a overlay to Google Maps.

I just acquired a ZED-F9P survey grade GPS unit and I would like to contribute. Is data still being collected and should I work on this?

A demo on how do you go from grid to ground in ArcPro would be awesome. I learned a lot. Thanks

Keith, I am following your videos and they are great. I am creating an ArcGIS Collector template to allow me to capture differing types of photography scenes and give them a rating. When I execute the Enable Attachment Tool, ArcGIS Pro does not create scene categories in the menu pane. How can I enable this? Also, may I send you my ArcGIS Pro map file for you to review? Thanks!

Hi Bob, Have you created Part 6 of this series? Thanks!

Great information but would be better if you zoomed in a bit into Label Class dialog box as you cannot see the commands you are typing clearly.

NOTE: You will be creating two labels. The second label is the important one we need to refer to when we later download Lidar data.

Nice set of videos Keith. Are you going to publish part 6 soon and run us through the Collector side of things?

Hello Bob I am waiting to see the new release of Collector this summer. I hope it does not change so much that the prep also needs to change. We shall see. Thanks for watching.
