I know a lot of people love Steve Perry. However if anyone has ever just sat and listened to the words of most of his songs. You can feel his pain, the hearbrak and the saddness that he was feeling.

I love Steve Perry and wouldn’t trade the music he made for anything but the few songs when Steve’s voice answers Gregg Rolie’s hold a special place in my heart, there’s something about Gregg and Steve together that’s magic!!! ❤

The Westwood One Isle of Dreams Concert was a "best of" their Superstar Concert and In Concert series. When I was 15, I thought it was a real concert, but I realized after it kept going for 8 hours and I never heard any promotion, that it wasn't real, but the live segments were real recordings. In addition to Journey, the lineup included Huey Lewis and the News, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and others that you wouldn't be able to get in the same place at the same time. Still looking for a complete copy. Thanks for this clean copy of this part at least!

Lincoln was A Good Friend, he was the Guitarist in my band when he was only 18 Yrs old, and was A phenomenal talent then, humble kid, who drove a Broken Down Subaru Brat, that I helped put an engine in!! lol. Great Memories, and road stories! See his Christian Music Career and support him. Awesome Family Man… Peace ☮️ Brother! Keep Rockin’ J

Was he singing yet? I think on this tour he doubled Steve’s vocals when Todd was singing the high squeaky part.

So loved listening to this interview Steve❤ You bare your heart and soul for us once again. Your life story is fascinatng - really! Your personaIity and of course your music are captivating. I love what you talk about at the end - thinking about having a totally different life. I have that wonderful "normal" life you are talking about - a loving husband, 2 amazing sons who are grown and married and a beautiful little granddaughter. Wouldn't change it for the world. But there is a piece of my heart that will always wonder what might have been between us had we met somehow in 1986 when we were both available. Peace, joy, and so much love to you always☮️🥰❤️😘 Stay cool!

This is where my love affair with Journey began. It’s 1981…I’m 13 and my friend just bought this album on vinyl. She places the needle to the vinyl and I hear this first song…”Just a small town girl…living in a lonely world…” I’m like “omg…who is that!?!?!!!!!” Steve Perry’s voice captured me right then and I was hooked. I’ve loved him and his one-in-a-million voice ever since. I will never stop believing. Journey On.
