Im a hugh fan of the 1994 version ... Im scared too see the new one ... Im afraid to be disappointed

Seems to what I hear there is too much focus on the love story, then getting the plot to kick into gear. You didn't need that in the 1994 classic.

Hey guys, Here’s my review of The Crow, now let me say this, it wasn’t awful that people are saying about it. It wasn’t bad, but at the same time, it wasn’t great either, it’s not going to be as great and legendary as the original 1994’s The Crow with Brandon Lee. Now, the positives I can is that Bill Skarsgård did a good job, the chemistry he had with FKA Twigs was good. I love the fight & action sequences, it was bloody gore action and the kills as well. I love it, especially the opera house scene, it was a lot of fun. And now, my negatives is the pacing, the plot points, and the main villain wasn’t believable to me. I like how they try to make different from the original, some works and some didn’t. If I had the chance to redo this movie, I would have made this a legacy sequel, instead of a remake/reboot, to kinda pay respect to the previous Crow movies and have mentions of the previous Crow characters. Now, it’s worth watching one time, and then people will probably forget this movie and people will probably only watch the fight action sequences again, instead of the whole movie. Some people will probably wait until to rent on digital, which is very predictable and will not rush out to see it theaters. So I will give it a C grade for what it was.

the only thing i didn't like was how they copied a line that technically is spoken in the next film "Get away from her...". that means Andy gets to say it before Ripley! what?

i enjoyed alien romulus great movie shes definitely not ripley but she did awesome in it actually would have been awesome if sigourney weaver had a cameo in the movie like a flash back maybe team andy indeed

Hey, i just watched Alien: Romulus, here's my review: Romulus was 90% of everything that a Alien fan would want in a Alien movie. The models of the Aliens, the practical effects, the atmosphere, all the environments were believable, had some of that intensity from James Cameron’s Aliens. It blends in with some of the lore of the previous films. The last 40 minutes of the movie was intense. This was definitely a follow up from Prometheus & Alien. There are some Easter eggs from Aliens. Big props to director Fede Álvarez. But with that being said, this was a A grade, 9/10, it was the one of the best Alien movies. Alien, Aliens, Prometheus & Alien: Romulus would be my top 4 of the Alien Franchise. Alien: Romulus is definitely in my top 10 best horror movies of 2024 and one of the best summer movies of 2024.

Good review. Out of the 30 new releases that I've seen in 2024, this was my favorite one thus far. Did you know that Bill Paxton's son was in the movie? He was the guy arguing with the front desk person at the motel.

This was good as the original first one, it recaptures the magic and everything it needed to be a summer blockbuster. but very new and different with the carnages, characters that we care for, emotional stakes and sub plot stories. For those that haven't seen the original, you don't to watch the original to follow up to the sequel because the story is not a follow up to the first one, it's a standalone sequel. Glen Powell was the MVP. I love and enjoy it. I gave it a A grade.
