Well started. I didn't realise the handle turns clockwise on a MK3. What is the advantage?

Does anyone have one they can measure. I have 40' of 15/16" solid round bar and 1" pipe to make one.

We had one of these for an 8n ford when I was young and wish I had all the measurements to build one as I now have a to20 and a l2900 kubota I think it will work on

We used old motor oil from our Fergusons to paint the plow blades before storing and also when we first used it in the spring. Take an old paint brush and dip in the old oil and paint the plow blades. After several passes the blade is nice and clean and shiny!
@nebraskamike6073 жыл бұрын
We had the same jack but we put the front saddles/cups under the axle not where the front 3 point hitch arm is located like you have it set up for. I live in Nebraska (U.S.) and we had 3 different Ferguson tractors on our farm. Mostly used for mowing and raking prairie hay and alfalfa. Thank you for sharing this kind sir!

Hi, after watching your video over and over, I realised that I did not have the confidence to fit my Mil Loader and asked my neighbour in France to fit it. However, he says that this particular loader that I have (same as yours) will not work on my 1949 TVO and that I need an earlier loader. Would you agree??? Many thanks.

You probably have a drilled International wheel center on the LH side , or maybe later International/fordson thats been drilled , the 3 small wheel weight holes right in the middle were used on B250 and the outer 3 wheel weight holes on the 434/ Fordson Dexta

Take a look at the article on the website. I don’t think timing is something that you can make a video of. This video is just the results of the web article.

Looks like a nice original jack. Might be a little hard to setup. Probably why not too many people bought that optional accessory. I wondered why there's extra pins under there. I figured they were for some sort of belly mower or something. I can't using it on soft ground.

For some reason, that technique doesn’t work on my Ford 1940 9 N. I did exactly what was demonstrated....put the PTO lever to the forward, or off, position, raised the hydraulic lever and cranked the PTO for ten minutes....nada. Any ideas?

Try putting the lever into the ON position

I have the exact same tractor and came up with the exact same idea the only thing i was going to do differently was i was gonna cut most of the post off leaving only a foot left then drill a hole through the post and put a metal rod through then wrap the chain around the rod
@MrDanoconnor7 жыл бұрын
I have a chance to buy one of these but hesitate because If using this to actually Change a Tire or work on the tractor brakes etc. , wouldn't the weight shift when you remove one wheel and cause it to be very unstable? I love the mechanics and think it's an ingenius device but not convinced it is safe, especially on soft ground.

Can You Please Explain Exactly, step by step How you Hooked up the Hydraulics for this loader to work and how you Blocked the 3 point arms Please. I am looking to put a loader on my TO30 and there is NO info out there at all with Pics. Thank You, DanO'

For those that don't know these were used mostly for changing wheel widths for row crops or steep hills. Spin the rear wheels around to go wider and then slide the front axles outwards or inwards for desired width. Ford sold these too with their 8N tractors.
@BundyBearsShed8 жыл бұрын
I have the same jack with the hollow tube but I also got hold of a solid rear bar one that I show on my gold 35 petrol sometimes. We will be starting a full restoration on a 1948 TEA20 over the next month or two and we will do a series on it on my channel. I just finished a John Deere 420H so time for the next one.
