Do u wrap it wet or dry ? I’m assuming wet ima try my 1st wrap out on my grand cherokee after my ram arrives so if I don’t know wat I’m doing it could sit😂

Only wrap dry!! If you wet the adhesive you will have issues with it sticking the the surface of the vehicle. And Grand Cherokees are difficult to wrap so I would definitely take my time and be patient with it! Check out our jeep srt video for some tips and tricks!🙌🏼

Not sure if removing is necessary. Even the Avery Dennison courses/tests teaches you NOT to remove parts. I wrapped several Tesla without ever removing anything and still holding up over the years.

That’s if you’re only wrapping Tesla lmao😂 I wouldn’t trust a shop who doesn’t know how to remove parts… I’ve wrapped plenty of cars with horrible gaps that are almost impossible to tuck behind, so I remove them and tuck a lot deeper so nothing lifts or peels over time and we also fix all the gaps for the customer so when they come back it looks like a brand new car!

Very well done! In order to wrap the door handles, did you have to remove the interior door panels? Did you also happen to wrap behind the trunk window that opens up?

@@devine32 thank you🙌🏼 we did have to remove the door panels in order to remove the door handles but it wasn’t to hard. And yes I tucked it pretty good so you can’t see any white

@@Br99klynINg24_8 ceramic coating will help preserve your wrap. It will make washing the car a lot easier and will protect against sun damage. When it comes to washing your car ONLY hand wash no drive thru car washes they will scratch your wrap and only use microfiber rag because it very soft and doesn’t leave a scratch

Great job! This is exactly what I'm prepare to do with my 2000 Tundra. For older vehicules it makes much more sense to wrap than pay 5-10x more for a paint job, specially in the rust belt. Rust will take over much any paint job after 3 or 4 years, about the same the lifespan for a wrap. A lot cheaper doing a wrap. Remove/Redo every 3-5 years.

Exactly! Customer said he got quoted $8k from a paint shop and that’s not including body work… wrapping it just makes more sense in my opinion. And if the quality is good enough nobody will ever tell if it’s wrap or paint
