You can make door with end rods or lightning rods. Only player can pass through the gap between those rods. The other mobs think those as full blocks through which they can't pass.

Still works perfectly for 1.20!

Thanks a lot Full cart condition worked for me in 1.20.1 I only needed that one so I just used 1 comparator to compare the cart with the torch

This setup with most complex, and basic unloader works in 1.19.2bedrock! Supports my nether portal sword overflow perfectly!! Thank you for the steadfast design.

1.19.4: 3rd method works, but do not spawn minecart inside of the loading chamber. Instead, push it inside

Does the build explained from @5:00 onwards still work? I've recreated this in a 1.19.4 creative world to test and I'm not sure it works. My hopper is empty after loading items and the fence post hasn't retracted. Can this be innovated upon? I.E was this pre-observers, or could skulk or boat with chests or anything be used to reduce the footprint/increase the speed? Edit: Extra information, I'm in Java edition

I've just built this loader design on 1.19.4. Thanks! I found a bug though, if your goods chest has more items than the minecart chest you might face an issue, if your minecart is not completely full and the hopper still has items it won't leave the station. To fix this, I replaced the last lever with a dropper and the dropper should be 80% filled so the signal coming out of the comparator is not 15. This way the minecart will leave with around 80% of it's cargo.

Sidenote following bedrock 1.19 : do not attempt to use too many power rails in the event the minecart is traveling back to the docking station. in rare cases , the cart will travel too quickly and when it docks , the detector rail cannot sense and measure the cart's storage

I built this and it worked for a while, but now my mine cart gets kicked off the rails by the piston if it has items in the mine cart. Any suggestions?

update from 2023, still works in 1.19.3 there is probably a better way to do this by now but this worked for what i needed.

i couldnt remember the third design but i knew this is what i needed for my circuit. i wish this came up higher in the search results cause it took way too long for me to be able to find this

Great tutorial, very compact. Solved two of three problems. What happens when you put more in the system than the mine cart can hold in one trip? It will not launch. Ever!
