I had the Sonic Extreme Boarding one for years, and I finally changed the battery to play again. It was a little tricky to open first, but all you need to do is be careful making sure you keep the screws nearby. But anyways, I love that thing and great video!

The reason the thermal visor looks so bad is because that's the only way they could keep the frame rate up (classic switch limitations). They lowered the resolution and boosted the motion blur, but if you can get past that it's better than the alternative

Nice video. Also fun fact NinjastarCompass, Thardus WAS moved from it's orignaly indented spot to Phendrana. But Chozo Ruins wasn't the place where Thardus should have been, in fact it was Magmoor who should have had Thardus as that area's main boss. And Phendrana Drift's main boss should have been the 3rd stage in the Sheegoth evolution line, a MASSIVE beast called Sabergauth. So Stage 1 would have been Baby Sheegoths, Stage 2 would have been Sheegoth & Stage 3 would have been the Sabergauth. Also the Omega Pirate wasn't supposed to be the main boss of the Mines. That role were supossed to go to Meta Kraid. Also, the Wavebuster is the 1 thing that Autolocks onto the cloaked drone in the Power Bomb room. And if you have 100 missiles+, that fight will be over in mere secs. It doesn't even have a chance to give you any damage.

If only the reviewers of Sonic 06 that originally hated Sonic Heroes knew of both 06 and later games. If i had a time machine and copies of Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric and Sonic Forces as well as thousands of newer consoles so they can appreciate the older games especially Sonic Heroes.

I’m 26 and the first sonic 06 review I remember was from “game dude”. I didn’t really know anything about sonic back then and I thought 06 just looked like SA1 but better graphics.

Cyberpunk 2077 was nowhere as bad as Sonic 06. Yet that game was hit with numerous lawsuits just for its poor quality and incomplete nature. In Sonic 06's case, less people looked forward to the game than Cyberpunk. Else Sega would of also been sued for the state of the GBA Sonic 1 port. But CDPR actually tried to patch Cyberpunk and they even improved the game. Sega won't patch their buggy, poorly programmed rushed games unless hit with a lawsuit. And thats what should of happened to Sega in 2006.

Sonic 06 was always defended by hardcore Sonic fanboys. That was terrible and insulting look at the Sonic community back in 2006. But most people buying videogames are not part of some niche Sonic internet community. Games better than Sonic 06 has gotten even worse flack

So crazy how Sonic Heroes was once seen as *The* Mistake of the franchise and that everyone had full hope for Sonic 06 to fix Sonic's image. Hoo boy, did they eat their words. Hurts too, as Sonic Heroes was and still is one of my favourite games.
