Using a Spector Euro 5LX. EMG DC40 Pickups with TonePump Active Circuitry. Rotosound Swing Bass 66 45-130 strings! In terms of amplification and sound I'm running through an Active DI Box into a Scarlett 2i4 3rd Gen, using Helix Native for all sound processing on Reaper.

Heat gun wont work as you need to hold down to make contact long enough for the flash to bind to the painted surface. Heat guns also get WAY too hot and will simply melt the plastic backing ruining the transfer.

Potentially it can but will be difficult to adhere. The reason being is how thin the actual material is, the matte finish may be too raised to apply.

Hey I haven't done so myself but have been told of success with poly clear coats out of a compressor (ie, no solvents). Solvents in something like SprayMax 2k will melt the finish into this grey slop that doesn't set. Water based poly allows more flash but is also softer to finish.
