Happy new year. Thank you for your comment. This time it was cold day about less than 10 degrees, so the temperature was below 100 degrees during my one trial. By the way, my machine is a normal radiator, but I use racing coolant(Kemitec PG55) and battery relocation kit(Odula) to improve cooling performance.

@@sanotama663 Happy new year for you too! That's good temps! But also ambient plays huge role, in 35C on warm engine one strong pull from 0 to 110 uphill made 105c, when normally in 10-20 ambient I rarely see 100. Tho I'm upgrading cooling after it'll come back from painting and body kit (white-gold R3 style). Will install big S2 Koyorad radiator and use FL22 coolant. Previous owner did some unknown one so IDK what's there. I've heard FL22 is best one, and better ones are only water-free coolants. How much battery relocation affected temps? Surely it's healthy for battery itself but does it give any significant engine temp improval?

@@skyy_xx Isn't FL22 a genuine MAZDA long-life coolant? Genuine coolant has a long lifespan and safety, but racing-grade aftermarket products have more better focus in cooling performance. However, racing grade coolant has a short lifespan (1 to 2 years) and must be replaced frequently. In the RX-8, the battery and case are located upper side of the radiator fan, so it jamming in the way of heat exhaustion. Therefore, if relocate it, the air from the radiator will pass through more efficiently, and the temperature will drop more easily. Relocating the battery will also improve handling by moving heavy objects from the front of the car. I also combination use a forced ON switch for the radiator fan.

@@sanotama663 it is but it's really good. It's mostly weekend car and maybe twice a year will be on track. From other RX8 users I've heard that it was pushed into 120C. And to 130C on Evans waterless coolant. OEM things are really good unless you do more professional things like racing

@@skyy_xx OEM coolant may be better for your usage. When I drift in the summer, the water temperature rises to about over 110 degrees even if use racing coolant. I know that my mods not enough summer racing driving continuously. Be careful with aftermarket radiators. If you choose aluminum material, it have the risk of overheating during traffic jams. Because its low self-heating properties. I recommend one made of copper.

Thank you for your comment. My car has modified many parts, but I think the most important for slide drive ones are the L.S.D and tires. Here are the parts I use. L.S.D CUSCO type MZ 1.5 way , cam angle 45deg. TIRES VALINO Greeva 08D I'm glad if you can use it as a reference. ​@@sanotama663 thanks! Was this LSD needed? What's difference between stock LSD and this one? My 8 is slightly modded rn, streetport, toyo exhaust, coilovers, poli. Need to upgrade radiator to 48mm koyorad i'll do when it'll come back from paint and bodykit job.

@@skyy_xx The genuine LSD, if the tires start spinning, the driving force can transmitted only one side. Because it purpose is machine will be stable. If install a mechanical LSD, the driving force will continue to transmitted both tires. It even if you slide start, continue to press the accel pedal become slide drive. This part is effective not only for sliding, but also for high-speed cornering with the throttle open. However, it loss a bit power, so it may slow down straight section. Also, when parking, etc., it becomes a little harder to turn around. But I think LSD install will become fun of machine controlls!

@@user-sc6fn1sm2d 多用の度合いにもよりますが、ジムカーナ屋さんレベルに酷使すると、調整したり交換したりは起こるのかもしれません。ただ、この動画とかでやってるくらいの軽いサイドであれば、特にサイドの利きに変化が出ることはないと思います。
