Man people have truly decided to hate this (and a number of other) game(s) regardless of anything yo do with the game itself. Id love to play the cynic about if the developers will do a good yood job but also soany people are clearly doing a conservative culture-war bit even though they arent real gamers

Thanks for your comment! Indeed, some people have seemed to have decided this is going to be bad without fully trying it. A good note for anyone here that seems to truly despise this title, it would be easy enough to just not buy it or watch video content about it. In our world, if you don't like something, the easiest way to no longer see things like that made is not to spend money on them. Things that don't make money don't get made.

It's literally the same basic outline for a game Ubisoft has been doing since 2002. It looks and feels like so many old games I've already played. Theres a reason for that... It's because its the same engine they used back then just with graphics upgrades. EA does the same thing. That's why their games are never innovative any more. Its all a basic outline they follow. They got the shimmy across a ledge, Squeeze between two rocks to hide a loading screen. Wall jumps/lame platforming, climbing areas and my favorite, first person vent crawling. lol It's basically 2000's Tomb Raider with slight upgrades. Cookie cutter games with no passion behind them adding nothing new. Heck it's 2024 and we can't even get a create a character.

Enjoyable interview. A bit awkward. Mark Arm’s so sardonic and gritty and the interviewer’s just not on the same wavelength, trying to stay in formal interview mode. Glad I watched tho, overall I’m happy you put it out there. Just an interesting mismatch between interviewer and interviewee.
