The QR code is not accepted. "That's not the right QR code". But it's one that is on a label saying "Connect me!" with a QR code under it.

Hello @nickbr57, the QR code sticker with the "connect me" label outlines the steps to setting up the WiFi. Your boiler will have a secondary QR code on the side that is required during the setup process. This is the QR code that our instructor scans at the 0:30 marker. This would have been placed on there by your installing contractor. There is also a duplicate QR code on the inside of the control panel that is factory-installed.

@ViessmannClimateSolutionsNA The sticker with Connect Me! has no instructions I scan the QR code and get the error. The only other sticker I could find has a QR code which also gives the error and a 2D barcode and the text "Please scan to get your free benefits now".

Can it be completed without DHW at all? Mine gives me error code f7 no DHW connected constantly and it’s annoying. I have it for heat only as I have a heat pump water heater.

Our Fault Code Checker advises the following: A number of TCUs were manufactured with firmware that contains an invalid certificate. Because the TCU has an invalid certificate, the connection to the Viessmann server is rejected. Instead, it is directed to a recovery server which tells the TCU to update its firmware. This process can take 60 to 90 minutes. Once updated, the TCU can connect to the Viessmann server. However, the registration process has already timed-out, and this results in an E10 or E12 error. After receiving an E10 or E12 error in ViCare, the user will need to wait a minimum of 90 minutes while the firmware on the TCU gets updated. After this time, the user can try registering the boiler in ViCare again, and the process should work.

Hi, my name is Moises Delgado, and I'm with Veissmann Manufacturing. Today, we'll be discussing a few issues you might encounter in your Veissmann boiler. In this example, we're going to use a zero D (0D) fault. Oftentimes, you may encounter your boiler in an idle state, and you decide to press the reset button, and all of a sudden you'll get a fault that says zero D (0D). A zero D fault just means that the reset button was pressed out of sequence. It's really more of a nuisance fault, but I'll show you how to clear it today. The first thing we're going to do is we're going to open the trap door area. We're going to select the fault search with A. This time it will display the fault, zero D (0D). I will acknowledge the fault zero D as well. Then close the trap door, and press the reset once. (He presses and holds the reset button for about 1 second before releasing) Within a few minutes, the boiler should fire up again, and you have a green light indicating the flame.

I have a Viessman 100 combi installed 1 year ago. It works fine from the ViCare app but won't accept being controlled by a third party wireless room thermostat ( HONEYWELL T3R) . Can't figure how to switch it on at the boiler either so left frustrated by it all. Original company that fitted it left scratching their heads.

You have confused current and voltage! You state to set meter to AC current then you are using it to measure AC voltage 🤷♂️🤦♂️ That is a fundamental error that could cause damage to things since if meter was set to current it will short circuit the item you probe across.

I just installed an outside temp sensor but my B1KA doesn't have an option 15 on menu 12. It cycles from option 14 back to 0. Is this a firmware issue or is there another option that precludes option 15 from showing?

What happens if the sticker is not present on the boiler. Where do i find the 3 pcs of info required to fill the app questions manually
I have the 0b fault code occasionally. It happens mostly in the morning when the central heating needs to heat the place several degrees. Seems like switching to hot water is a trigger. Sometimes switching to hot water and back to central heating causes the 0b to show. Other times the fault code 0b is already there and switching to hot water makes it go away. When 0b shows, at all times hot water is available when i open a hot water tap. At all times the pump keeps running. It's just that on central heating the burner will not activate. Sometimes before the 0b shows i can hear the burner try to activate but fails, or the burner runs for 2 sec and stops, then 0b shows. A few times i saw when temperature drops below 50c the burner succeeds to activate and 0b is gone. Could you possibly give me some insights before i start troubleshooting?

The 200 series can do so with circuits and has an option for room feedback. The 100 & 300 series uses a room thermostat.
