In a previous mort stream, he said (in regards to encounters) that augments are decided, then the encounter can affect them. So you can have all prismatic, then get the ekko augment and "nothing happens." I presume it works similarly with power up

I get you, Ive noticed if I dont get TONS of the 4 cost units (or a free early 2* ez or something) then just doing the usual roll down at 8 and hope you hit heimer corki and illaoi is often too little. Even if I hit all 3, if your frontline isnt very strong you will just bleed out attempting to go 9. 2* illaoi makes a world of difference

in mu case i’ll only play academy if there are any good sponsor items, especially jayce items or any tank items. also u have to get 2* illaoi or/and 2* rumble with full item and anomaly, to get strong frontliner. i once played jayce backline with 2 DBs and IE, he alr dealt 10k+ damage as 1*

I think it is pretty evident that boxbox plays mainly for content, not necessarily to be top. obviously first place = content but it'd be boring for viewers to consistently watch chem baron/emissary. if he wanted to, he could easily follow meta without care of content and be on top

what people don t get is: inting Chembarons is the ONLY counterplay, since they will go first place 100% of the time with a 600 cashout. If they somehow remove inting then the trait has no counterplay

maybe viktor ult cant be blocked but it does seem strange that the CC seems to last longer on other units than it did on corki.. you can see him on the ground and attacking faster than the other units after the vik ult

I love watching this gameplay but the intro reminded me why I don’t actually play the game. And Riot can’t change the core functionality of the game without alienating their players. Lose-lose situation, guess you just get griefed…

Every single multiplayer game has griefing in it. When it comes to chem-barons who cares? Just don't play that one comp out of 20 if it matters to you. Holding units is also rarely impactfull to the target and always a hinderence to the holder. Idk man you're over reacting hard.

About the chembaron grief, me and my double buddy usually make it our mission to grief chembaron players in the lobby. Especially if we're playing it ourselves. Yes, I WILL sell my units and loose a ton of hp, yes we will go 4th (7th and 8th). But you are going down with us, we're holding hands!!!

Call to chaos is so troll, yes many of the options (60%) are good even great but why would you even take the gamble instead of going for the 100% play, and i get that he would do it for content but he then says he believes it to be the correct play which it certainly is not

It was 100% the right play. If he was playing a vert that requires emblem sure take it, but dominator is playable with ziggs cause mord 2 is legit carrying the game. And it’s not 60% it’s more like 80%. The fact that he’s playing doms which is extremely flex means it’s definitely worth the gamble for insta first.

He often makes misguided claims like these in his games sadly and then gets angry when people correct him, though sometimes it's very hard to give an accurate opinion about his play because you could be watching a game that happened 1-2 patches ago and memory about those is fuzzy.
