It’s a fun island for quick get away from Bangkok. First time I was there in 2012 where the roads were undeveloped and you could rent an atv and ride it all over the island it was fun.

Ban Phe ist fuer mich der schoenste Platz in Thailand , genau die Richtige Mischung aus Unterhaltung und Ruhe und Frieden .Man muss halt ein wenig suchen um alles zu finden . Auch sind die Preise guenstiger alls woanderst.

Koh Samet im August hat mehr was nostalgisches, meist bewölkt und kurze heftige Regenschauer, kein typisches Türkis blaues Wasser usw..dennoch warm , halt anders schön

@@Mamomotz also besser Koh Samui und Koh Tao oder Koh Phangan in der Nebensaison.Also diesen Februar waren wir das erstemal in Koh Mak, Koh Kood und Koh Khaem, war wunderschön.Im July/August 2023 waren wir in Koh Lipe, Wetter war top trotz Nebensaison, hat mal kurz am Tag geregnet, aber nicht lange, war ja trotzdem heiß.
