Love the lack of tone errors in AI narration. For example at @3:30 “The doctor reminds him that Elizabeth has a big life.” But the movie was enjoyable.

Story of a woman who cannot take any accountability for her actions. Cheated? Woe is me. Got pregnant from having sex with multiple men? Well get rid of the baby because I should be able to participate in risky affairs with no consequences.

All I got out of this is that women's movies romanticize cheating and I really want to try Victor's restaurant because that guy is actually committed to something.

A realistic romantic film (most of it) based on a long enduring classic story of true love 🌹❤️ - wasn't mushy - really enjoyed it. She later went on to play the lead role in Mama Mia.

lol nowadays when women cheat, the movie or tv show will be sympathetic. I guess when cheating is so rampant, a lot of people have to find some way to convince themselves they aren't revolting.

@@stephent5963 Fatal Attraction, Marriage Story, Crimes and Misdemeanors, and virtually every mafia movie and TV show. Just for starters. Even if the characters are meant to be flawed, they're usually the people we're supposed to be rooting for in the end. After all, people are complicated. Meanwhile, comments like these show a black and white attitude towards when a female character cheats, as if there is no path towards redemption once the act is committed

Through hiking isn't the same anymore. Now it's a narcissistic, look-at-me joke where most people try to hike as fast as they can, with the most minimal amount of gear & more worried about being weight-weenies than self-reflecting. It's not about the struggle & overcoming and finding inner strength anymore. It's not about figuring out where your place in life is like it originally was.
