4:35 Personally I see the callbacks to "Zack Snyder Superman" Shots as James Gunn acknowledging the friendship and working relationships he has to this day with Zack Snyder, and how this new DC Universe it's not meant to diss or be a dig at what Zack was building with Man of Steel before the WB at the time ruined it. If anything this shows me a mix of confidence and humbleness from Gunn, and a tribute to Zack's contribution to the character as a show of mutual respect. But that might be just me, I guess.

So far...Not feeling it. - I too am not crazy about a bloodied Superman. Also hoping the reason for it is not because they didn't want to make him too powerful because, "We can't tell a good story if he is" (which completely isn't true) - Also agreed on how funny it looks how Superman is almost oblivious to that blob in the sky destroying the city - Tired of Lex Luthor. Never found him to be an interesting villain but more of an annoyance - I rolled my eyes at seeing this Clark Kent. I know its too early to tell, but I hate the clumsy putz version of Clark. - Not crazy about the extra heroes. I'd rather see Superman and really hoping they're only helping him and not saving him.

Then it will be just right. The underwear looks fine with his build but the reason for it is amazing. He def is the guy that gets beat up like Goku but just keeps coming back. I think that will be the thing makes more people watch this movie. Where he actually is vulnerable from others things. Not just kryptonite etc. To me it looked amazing and suit looks better on film. Its not perfect but thats superman. He looks like if i was a new league member, somebody I would roast while we have meetings. But then he saves me in a fight where im about to die while i don't deserve at all. Making me a better hero in the end. even though I have faith in James Gunn and love the look of this film (from the teaser), I'm ever so slightly sceptical purely because of the Superman & Lois TV Show.. that series has become Gold standard for me! 😅

It's giving 1996s Superman The Animated Series vibez. Superman was SUPER but also wasn't invincible nor overpowered. Which made for some interesting storytelling and fights. Which is a good thing for this movie. I'm loving this!
