i got a question. i put my base in the same area as you did but he doesnt bug out and instead tries to run around to get to me. any ideas?

It is more fun to play with the normal mode without changing any of the settings. This games becomes a production game, not an exploration game if you play it your way. The game is designed for you to be underpowered and yet be able to beat the bosses. The only problem is that the developers made it too grindy and it is ok for the Japanese to be "grindy". Yet this game isn't very popular in Japan. LOL

What would be good passive skills to always have for a fighter? It seems like you always have serenity and musclehead, are those the best all around passives to have?

Nice video. After doing these, I upgraded my base into a total Astegon mining operation base for endgame breeding ops. The ranch only have bees in it and I dont plant anything. Simply because limited space and limited slot for the base. The Astegon (plus knocklem, and both version of jormuntide) will produce stuff needed to craft Legendary spheres. I prefer Astegon than Blazamut since the Dark type is just huge advantage for base workers. They dont need to sleep, doubling the daily output basically. I sell those spheres and buy whatever I needed for cakes. I routinely bought Eggs, Milks, Berries, Bones, Wheat, and Pall Fluids in huge bulk. I wish there is a button to buy stuff exceed 999 because I really need to buy tens of thousands of them. By using Cakes, I can breed large amount of pals for resources. Kitkit, Mimog, Anubis, and Jetragon generally. Since they are my main sources of Oils, EXP, Souls, and Quarts. The passive for the workers is the usual Diet Lover, Artisan, Serious. I put Nocturnal on non-dark pals, and use Lucky for the dark ones. The passive for the Bees is Nocturnal, Diet Lover, Dainty Eaters, Workaholic The passives for the breeders are Nocturnal, Diet Lover, Dainty Eaters, Philanthropist. By making my base nocturnal, I can go AFK in base to get the resources. Making breeding thousands of palls become much faster and easier, since I can watch youtube like this while my base cooking three cookers worth of maxed stack of cakes.

Why yakumo for passive holding? Does it breed with most pals or something?

Hey there! I have a beginner question-why Yakumo? Is it the best option for breeding upwards with non-legendary/elemental passives? i noticed you have one for movement, worker, dungeons etc...

This is the best breeding video guide on KZbin, Holy Burst is kind of monotonous and too overpowered IMO, it needs adjusting for the health of the game and so players have reasons to breed other skills into their pals

Sorry for another question: I have an Anubis with the right passives I want. If I breed with a Bristla (no passives) do the Lv 1 eggs get a chance of having Holy Burst or do I have to breed high level Yakumos together that already have Holy Burst and then use those Level one eggs? I was trying to cut out a breeding chain by using a Pal that already has the desired passives. Thanks!!

Also, I would very much like to see a tour of your main base, from your main playthrough (not one done for a video) with explanation of why you made it the way you made it, like for each structure you put - why did you put it there, and so forth.

Nice video!! How do I keep Pals at Lv 1 because soon as you use them in a breeder in a main base they level up automatically? The only way they don't level up is in a Viewing Chamber or a players Palbox (although I'm trying to work out what bases cause the levelling up because it appears that large bases do but smaller bases with say < 5 pals dont trigger the levelling)

Hey, if I have a max iv pal and and max passive pal can I breed them Example: Shadow real has max passives can I breed it with a max iv gobfin and will it creat a max iv anumbis?

Great recap Trops. Really amazing that you were able to fit all that into 7 minutes. I did the lion's share of my breeding pre 0.3 so most of the work was waiting on mutation chance and back breeding better IVs/passives. Once you have your perfect _____ pal its super easy to pass along the stats and a couple IVs to its children so the big hurdle is just getting the first one done. IE: I did my Anubis first, and was able to chain right up through Lyleen, Jorm and into Ignis and carry all the work speed passives in just a handful of eggs. Yakumo and the IV glasses made the process MUCH simpler. Your a little bit crazy going for Holy Bolt and max IVs; your bred ignis count must be ~5k. lets hope HB doesn't get nerfed with the next patch, Judging by the behavior of the skill its 100% not working as intended (likely a value swap in coding).

Mounting and unmounting your bird repeatedly is better than the grapple trick for early encumbered movement imo. It doesn't take an inventory slot and it requires no menu and it uses just the F key. It lets you free up an extra ancient tech point as well. The only cons are that it takes a party slot for the bird and that you have to weave around things with F key context like stones on the ground, chests etc.

0:44 I used a prep with a Mossanda Lux from the FPA camp that I saved from its cage and it is an Electric type which is also effective. 1:49 I used a team of fire pals with Pyrina, Billie Joe (the leezpunk ignis) Roobert my Rooby, Van Diesel my Vanwyrm and Flameo My Arsox 3:45 I destroyed the Electric-Dragon type pal with 3 Jormuntide Ignis and 1 Shadowbeak with it’s op dark attack 6:09 I destroyed them with the same pals from the last battle 8:18 I prepped up with the same pals again but with an extra Shadowbeak and I failed. Next try I took Astegon, Jormuntide, Beakon, Shadowbeak, and an Anubis 10:21 I killed them 2 with legendary pals and rocket launcher with meteor launcher but my assault rifle was too op and killed it in 20 seconds

9:37 I completed it before you at 1 minute and 20 seconds. I used the prep with legendary pals and rl with 80+ ammo, ar with 999+ ammo and pump-action shotgun with 100+ ammo.

9:12 If you don’t have Galeclaw’s gloves, cause’ you can’t get it due to 0 tech points or low level. But in easy mode or when KZbinrs like Imcade dies, they don’t lose their stuff and Jetragon with no death penalties. I have no penalties and 1 Jetragon, no thundercloud, no Galeclaw, 1 Frostallion and his dark version as well including Paladius and Necromus.

7:20 I blasted the guards from the inside of the blue container, but the chest was also blasted away from the game since that affects some console players. Such a disappointment from Pocketpair 😢
