All of a sudden, the other day, the lyrics came to me, tell me on your thoughts of God. Now I've found the band responsible. Absolutely top notch musicianship and incredible lyrics.

I appreciate your putting the words out there. The lyrics are wild, surrealistic, syncretistic, and erotic. In other words, it's modern art. Poetry.

Knowing Metallica's back catalog of odd cover songs, it's only a matter of time before they whip this one out on another AWMH concert...hope they do it right!

Saw you J.R. opening for Toad The Wet Sprocket at the Del Mar Sound in July of 2024. You still got it! You knocked it out of the park. My wife said your voice is beyond awesome, I agree. Thanks for the opener it was great.

A mysterious song, I have no idea what it means, but from personal experience of Dylans prophetic verses, I will understand one day. His work creates such a powerful ambiance, and it generally comes true later on. An example: (...the beauty parlour is full of sailors; the circus is in town...' written in about 1964.) ethermail

I temember listening to this with my best friend in the early 90's hanging at the marina . We were both going through some shit at the time... We would light one up and play this sonv and escaped for a while. To this day we still talk about this song and the times we had at the marina 30 years ago. I love this guy like a brother and has always been there for me . Thanks for being one of songs i'll listen to forever.

This song hits such an intense vibe with me I have to say it's one of the best songs of the 90s or pop era for that matter. And as far as god is concerned, she did give birth to the universe.
