This is the second video I've seen the main gear glue issue and tail wheel issue on the V3 Corsair! I have been thinking about getting one around or after Christmas so I hope FMS resolves these issues before I drop the cash! I have the FMS V2 P 51 Old Crow and love it! Absolutely NO issues to date with well over a 100 flights on it! And not a scratch, still looks the same the day it was assembled! But I always preflight and use top notch radio gear and run good batteries! I started flying the real thing and RC at 15 and flew most of my life as a Corporate Pilot, so I absolutely know the value of a through pre-flight on the real thing, and also these, unless your just like parting with money lol! Anyhow good Video!❤

Thanks for the comment. As far as I know there have not been any mods to secure the mains better. My latest fix, shown at the end of the video, includes using gorilla glue this time which expands into the gear mounts better than regular glue. The newest glue job with gorilla glue is much more solid than my first attempt with epoxy. It's a little unfortunate because this thing flies really well! If you do decide to pick one up, or anything else from FMS, check the info section of this video for some affiliate codes to save yourself a little cash.

The FMS SU-27 flies great! All three flights in this video are without gyro. C.G. is at 150mm. 6s 6000mah LiPo battery used. Timer is set for 3:30 but I am also using Jeti telemetry to monitor pack voltage and percentage. Individual cell voltages were between 3.7 and 3.8 volts after each flight. Definitely a keeper! The downside? ... The inability to move battery packs more rearward to hit the proper C.G (see part 1 video for my solution)....and shortish flights, this is a twin 70mm flying off of a single battery pack. See the info section above for more specs, a link to the assembly and setup video, and codes for FMS discounts.
