I know this is an older ambulance, Med Act has brand new ones these days. They are yellow, blue and white, some of them have loud air horn sirens and they got rid of all the red ones.

It actually a 93 unit and that particular ambulance was used on rescue 911 in Prairie Village on the CO call of the police officer

The red ones was a 16 year partnership with Overland Park Ks fire department and after the partnership ended Overland Park fire department saved money by allowing Med act to take over

I still currently live in Medowlark Hill's Apartment's and I lost my apartment before last Christmas. I lived on the Newton street side. Anyways, the office and fire department still never told us the cause of the fire and i think it was an arsonist😢

Do you have any advice for train watching in Lawrence, KS? I am planning to go there later this month, but have no experience train watching in KS.

I’ve never done any actual train, watching in Lawrence, mainly just chased trains through town. But I do know the UP on the north side of the river is going to have the most trains. BNSF on the south side of the river will have the Amtrak southwest chief but now a lot of traffic unless they’re using it as a detour for mow on the Transcon

Unfortunately there is no way to completely avoid the traffic but if you use 152 hwy west to I-435 south down to I-70 west that will help you avoid downtown Kansas City. 152 hwy is a Liberty, MO exit.
