just loosen the bolt enough to lift the lock plate off the adjusting bolt and save yourself a lot of time

what year is the truck? my truck is having the same issue but the said i couldnt just change the wastegate that i would have to change the whole turbo . i got a 2015 cascadia dd15

I have 2015 cascadia and I changed air compressor and dryer with governor after that I see truck discharge while I’m driving every 2 minutes, then I see mechanic and they check air leak final he said ur westgate is leaking and hè blocked the air line he said u can order from online as you said I call the dealer and they said we don’t sell that peice separate, so my question is, are you hearing noises from that area? mine theres no oudible air leek ty for help 🙏

Wouldn’t have been easier to just torque the bolts or instead of cutting it just asking it seems more complicated cutting

It was all getting replaced, nothing pretty, cutting it like I did is the fastest way if nothing getting reused! Cheers!

You would actually get too much power (damage the engine) if that waste gate doesn't operate.

So far I know, the Air pressure for that hose comes from the cool side of the turbo, not from the air compressor of the truck. The air from that hose opens the waste gate and prevents over pressure in the boosting system which prevents damage to the engine itself. So, your air leak is somewhere else.

I have a Kenworth t600 2006 I push in my red button on the dash valve and it will not stay in I have to hold with my hand can’t move my trailer the yellow button stays in i replaced dash valve tractor protection valve relay valve and it’s still doing it

Sounds like a bad foot valve, the brake pedal has a complex valve on it

How do you know when you need to adjust?? My issue is that I cant get it into gear, some times, from a stop. Even with the clutch pedal all the way down....To me it seems to be my clutch brake?? Some one help. Thanks

If the clutch pedal doesn't have any free play before engaging the clutch it's a good indicator of clutch being out of adjustment. You should get about 2" of free play before contact.

Thank you. I found a dozen videos with the spring loaded nut adjuster but this was the only one with this style. My old 9 speed had the spring adjuster but my new 13 speed has this one. I like the spring loaded nut style better.
