Is there a reason why 90% of the keyboard youtubers stopped uploading videos about 2 years ago?

Thank you for all your effort over the years Huey. Going to the NorCal meetup has always been a dream of mine, one that I've yet to achieve in my 7 years of being in this hobby. Hopefully I'll see you there someday as a fellow attendee; I know SFMK will carry the torch well.

If you're interested in a bit more tactile and deeper version of the Box White, Box White Owl is an excellent and less known alternative. It bounces back quicker than the Jades for example.

This may be my dream ALPS keyboard. I own a Matias Mini Tactile Pro and a Dell AT101 and it seems like for real ALPS switches, I would prefer the white Alps line. The Matias Switches are freaking incredible while Black Alps are alright, if kinda underwhelming, with only their sound going for them.

Damn a year later and this is still the only video I've seen on this board. As interesting as it is, I've never seen anything like it since which sucks. Maybe one day I'll get one second-hand.

I can't open Outemu now matter how hard I try. I would have thought the Kailh switch opener would have worked on Outemu switches as they have similar side latches. Was hoping you would show the Outemu being opened by the Kailh device :)

I kept my Omnikey Plus from 1990. It came with my first PC - a Northgate slimline 38DX/20. After not being used since the 2000s, I wanted to start using the keyboard again. I just got it working again and typing on this thing is amazing.
@kevinintheusa8984 Жыл бұрын
I had a Northgate 8088 computer that I purchased in 1987 and I still have it today. I got rid of the monitor but I kept the computer (70 mb hard drive) and a floppy drive. It was DOS based and I ran a spreadsheet, wordprocessor, and inter-office communications on it from 1988 up until 1992. It was the amber monitor version. I also have the original keyboard which I used until about 2 years ago when I upgraded to an Adesso mechanical keyboard. I refurbished my old keyboard and it is just as good as new. I loved my original so much that I picked them up whenever I saw one in a local computer store such that I now have 9 of them and they all work great. I also picked up the adapter to go from the old round pin style to a USB. Great video. I am typing this in my office on my Adesso keyboard and the clicking is so loud that you can hear it in the breakroom next to my office.
