he was truly having the worst imagineable time he could. just had to make it a little worse xd

enough gunners at 9:12 to increase threat to a point where it blocks ambients and specials from spawning, those gunners also just afk and sat in this area and didnt move at all until they were forced to teleport forward at the end so they were consistently breaking spawns for the rest of the run

i use this build: darktide.gameslantern.com/builds/9dc07847-9d27-4b78-a648-e3e976170e3b/havoc-db-swap it is a pretty solid build. like a nice balanced version of flamer zealot. but double barrel has been super fun, especially for an "off meta" build. probably the most fun vet build, and it has pretty good ammo sustain too so i dont need to grab ammo if someone else needs it

yeah, its mostly something to do as a means of giving the quad interesting games to play. have to think about builds more, and go out of your comfort zone a bit

@wesleygillis5061 taunt is mostly used as stagger for me. it's infrequently used to actually "taunt". I will only use it as a "taunt" specifically in this kind of team comp when the horde is running past me and they could trap me from backing up. for example at 0:56 i taunted because i knew guys were going down the stairs, and i wanted to stagger them so they wouldnt cut off my retreat. i took that position i was in as a means to get free damage in, ie i can do damage but cant be damaged easily, and then used taunt to prevent them from shutting off my retreat. it is infrequently used to make sure that j doesnt get poked while he is traumaing as well. but mostly only done if the enemies are spread out and cant be controlled by trauma easily this is ofc in addition to the main purpose which was to disable gunners and make ranged dives easier. for boss it's just as a means to ensure aggro and easier role management, ie i will be able to pull boss away from horde, dps boss without horde attacking me and jsat can dps horde without boss attacking him volume mixing is an appreciated note, its hard to make game loud enough so you can hear everything but not drown out voices. then balance my voice a little louder to everyone elses, while also not making anyone too loud xd

@insertgoodusernamehere5030 my curios are all toughness with toughness/hp/stam regen. I think jsat might have Gunner resistance in this run but not sure if he swapped it off

@Mercuryess firstly, assassin acceleration is based on fps. so if you get 60 fps or less, you won't come close no matter how hard you try. but secondly it is just holding w to accelerate while in the air

@hoshihoshi3976 ogryn is hard to play in this mode, and hard to get good value out of. as much as I'm not an ogryn player, it is probably the most engaging class to play ive found lol

yeah, thats for sure. when ive had one premade with me, and then party find for pubs, the pubs have very often just been chain rezzed. at the very least they die once. for better or worse i find. sometimes its fun to have the difficulty, other times theres no way youd get true survivor penance with those kinds of players xd

Nah it's a game wide buff to the gunners, havoc just makes it harder on top of that.

@@Trapped42 Nah, it's an issue where some bullets including sniper rounds will ignore the dodge and slide window. It's outside the increased rate of fire change which allows the gunners to hit you while you are sprinting to charge a slide and the time between activating a dodge. It's likely an issue with the netcode not syncing the local and server side game instance cleanly enough to always make sense on the user side relative to the increased fire rate.

@@TewbBelrog I don't believe they changed the window that you can't be shot, I'm pretty sure they only changed the number of instances you have to get shot I.E., fire rate.

@@Horus-IIIFire rate and longer bursts. By window I mean that their bullets just outlast your slide and dodge frames through sheer weight of fire.
